Everyone should cancel any money going into servers for this mod. We are forced to allow script kiddies, and hacks ruin the game by not being allowed to kick or ban them... We are not even allowed to lock our server with no players... we can't even shut it off..... WTF kind of way is this to run a game you expect us to pay over $50 a month to host for you? Server providers are sending out threats to blacklist servers handed down from DayZ staff... WTF is wrong with you guys??? Are you that clueless what it is like to spend hard earned cash on a server then be told you can not kick or ban the troll's who are using teleports, the trolls who are using scripts to be invisible... (Kinda fucking hard to get video evidence on that one). You are telling us we can't have a good server... We had well over 40 players who would love to have a passworded server that kept out the cuntbag kids with the scripts and hacks. We are threatened???? We are the one's paying !!!! Your rules suck ass Rocket.

Just to be clear... you can not kick or ban... when you do, they come in here and cry Admin abuse... Then you get an e-mail from your SP saying you are going to be blacklisted... you can't shut your server off. You can't kick everyone... and I mean EVERYONE. We kicked everyone off our server and locked it. Not kicked some players and were playing on it... We kicked everyone... Nobody was on our server and we locked it. We then get a message from our SP that DayZ staff said we will be blacklisted for locking our server . WE LOCKED IT SO THE HACKERS AND SCRIPT KIDDIES COULD NOT TAKE ALL THE ASSETS THAT OVER 30 REGULAR PLAYERS WHO FREQUENT OUR SERVER HAD WORKED FOR. So no, you can not stop your server.... No , you can not ban hackers, No you can not kick players from youre server... All they do is come here post a BS cry me a river post about admin abuse and poof! You get a warning about getting blacklisted. I banned a guy... Next day he is in there with new guid... same user name and when i ban him he posts a ADMIN ABUSE THREAD... I get a warning from DAYZ staff.... FUK THAT!

Clearly you have no clue what maintaining a server is all about. The amount of time that goes into keeping a server lag free... Making sure hacks are not being used... keeping teleporters from ruining the game so people actually come to your server... Being able to spend hours of your gaming time to set up a camp... collect loot and weapons only to have some kid who pays $10 for a script to teleport everyone in your server to one place and mass murder them. teleport all the vehicles to anywhere they want to take away every players assets they have spent hours to get. Troll Fail go away kid.

You clueless asshat! You clearly don't rent a server. you clearly have no clue as to what it is like to try to maintain a server. You are probably a 15yr old kid playing on daddys pc... go away... THIS THREAD IS FOR PAYING SERVER OWNERS.

I Have to say i was very happy with Vi up until i got repeated threats about getting blacklisted for locking our server down after being taken over by teleporters. While I know this is not the fault of Vi ... We had to cancel our server.... and I hope everyone paying for a server right now would just do the same thing. Cancel your server, show Rocket that we will not let the script kiddies and hacks run our servers. Let him understand that it is the server admins... (THE GUYS PAYING) that run these server... not him... not them... WE RUN IT. Or you can have a mod that nobody is willing to pay for hosting.... Enjoy your POS MOD Rocket... your rules suck....

Nobody said anything about the MOD... I love it... it is fun as hell. The rules we have to follow ( WE BEING THE GUYS PAYING$$$$$$$$$ TO RUN SERVERS) are a joke. We have to allow hacks and scripts to run around in our servers. We see a guy teleporting shit and lock our server and kick everyone... 10 mins later we get a message from our SP that they have received a message from DayZ STAFF that we are not allowed to lock our server. PISS OFF... Allowing punk script kiddies to run a server we are paying for is not gonna happen. Allowing the punk kids to come in here and cry foul when they get banned for using exploits... then sending threats to the Server admins... " you know... The guys who are paying $$$$ " ... yeah thats a real great way to run things. Then telling us we have to show proof... SHIT!!!! we had to change our server from veteran back to Normal just to get names of guys battle discoing then take the time to sit around and record every encounter so when we ban a player we won't get blacklisted.... FUK THAT.... so when do we get to actually enjoy the game?? WHEN DO WE GET TO PLAY THE GAME AND NOT HAVE TO DEAL WITH ASSHATS USING SCRIPTS AND EXPLOITS??? Answer: we don't. We have to deal with server provider threatening to blacklist our server ... then we have to go upload a video encounter... then while we are doing that ...the guy is teleporting every player on our server into a market and turning them into cows... then standing ther with an automatic crossbow blazing steel bolts into them... Yeah...those players are going to come back to our server... PISS OFF!

We have officially said no more. Canceled our server after being threatened with blacklist for (((((((LOCKING OUR SERVER DOWN WITH NO PLAYERS IN IT))))))) We aren't even allowed to lock it empty... god forbid we were to shut it down.... I have seen threads about people wanting to blacklist servers for being shut down. This has been a waste of over $100.00 to my clan. To ask for a refund i guess is a total waste of time... To the last guy saying this is an alpha.... YOU SIR ARE CLUELESS This mod is being run on ARMA2 it has been around quite a long time.... Saying this is an Alpha is like saying,They are making this game DayZ from the ground up. You sir don't know anything about this subject.

I agree with this idea... we had guys teleporting stuff on our server... we kicked everyone.. locked it up so nobody could play for a while... an hour later we get a message that we might get blacklisted for locking our server.... this is unacceptable, i could see if we had people playing on it while it was locked... but we removed everyone,and locked it. I guess we will just cancel our subscription, having no right to keep hackers out and being told to have the server up or be blacklisted is a joke.

You were witnessed by more than one player on the server Disconnecting to avoid death from a player. As per Rockets rules... you were banned from playing on our server. Please feel free to stop by our website to post an appeal with any proof you might have to defend yourself. There is nothing mysterious about the fact that you are playing on a server we are paying for and don't have a clue what it takes to keep a server populated and frendly for all to play in.

Oh and BTW... there are more than 20 camps with various vehicles and tents that I know of on our server. We play every day and we, as a clan work together... We also run in packs of more than 2 players... so if you kill 1 or 2 of us... there are usually 2 or 3 more close by to go and take the gear.. and hide the bodies so that you can't take the gear... Learn how to play as a team with more than 1 other person... learn to be tactically sound as a team and you might understand why some of the things that you call strange or unexplainable occur. I only see 2 people saying something about restarts... you and Terror... As for yesterday... you might have noticed that the server was restarted 3 times around 10PM CST... this was done by the Server provider after we provided video evidence of Teleports and battle disco's to them . they up dated the ban list with the players and we shut the server down for 45 mins to make sure they did not come back with different ip's and guids... we do not cheat ...we do not use exploits... Any Member of our clan or any pub players caught Battle discoing will be banned from our servers. Please provide video evidence and appropriate action will be taken. This is the internet... no video... it didn't happen. Have a nice day...

Sounds like sour grapes to me... Check our server messages... Server restarts every 4 to 6 hours. This is to keep the log files clean... If you knew anything about running a server you might understand the need for this. You see, our server has been on the same mission since it was started. This creates alot of items that are stored on the server. And alot of players who populate our server. We have however been in constant communication with our server provider about the current amount of hackers and how to deal with them. Currently you will notice that we have changed the server from Veteran to Regular in order to get names of players we watch using "Battle Disconnects" in order to BAN THEM from our servers. We have 6 members recording all encounters with these players... So don't be suprised if you get a ban message while on our server due to using exploits. We are an HONEST and FAIR gaming Community. That is most likely the reason our server is constantly populated with the same group of players and ranked as high as it is. Terror: Here is a tip for you, if you don't like our server... how about you go take $56 out of your pocket each month and host your own server. Until then... you can think that posting babble and BS in these forums is somehow going to affect us, but we document everything that occours in our server... and back it up. Have a nice day.

Today at 9:15 CST on US 194 m4dclans Server. I am one of the server Admins, we had 3 of our members see a chopper flying in Electro over the power station. One of us shot a passenger "Player name" PackASmack The chopper then flew north... we restarted the server and are currently looking for the pilot to come back.

THEY WERE REMOVED DUE TO SOME PROBLEMS.... A MONTH AGO.
