Hi bobo. You have a great vision. You and others like you should get together with the guys over at DayZPlanet.. There are Map makers... DayZ coders.... Website Developers...Anti-hack programers all working together to bring this #3 experience to ALL who play... not just a select few who can only join a couple servers in a small private hive. If the people who have something to offer this community.. be it ((( coding / administration tools / maps or other ideas ))) all worked together it will benefit the entire community... not just a few lucky ones.

Clearly a fanboy or agent of some other hosting company. I know personally that tickets are never unanswered for more than a 24hour period... and that is the extreme time frame. As to the recent issues... they have all been explained and fixed... check the other posts... stop trolling ViLayer and DayZPlanet... They are working very hard.. for FREE, to make this mod better each day.

Have you used DayZCommander to update your client files? If you have... be sure you are joining 1.0 Lingor servers.

I have to say.... there should be nothing but praise for Lee and all of the guys working with DayZPlanet to bring some continuity to this MOD. There is not any money being made by doing all of the work that these guys are doing. Anyone who complains about what these guys are doing for DayZ should be removed from the forums for being a troll.

I have 68 posts in this community... you have 269... seems you are more busy than I sir. I don't like the constant misinformation trend that has started up in these forums recently. Far too many people are being given false information, far too many people are flat out telling large BS stories to try to bash one group or another. The guys who are helping the community are going to get my support... the ones with their own agenda, and with no regard for the community will get my backlash... nothing more... nothing less.

From my understanding... DayZ Planet has been in the works from day 1 of the DayZ MOD release. The fact that similar names have been chosen is not a OMG moment in my opinion. GET OVER YOURSELF. DayZ Planet has created content for the end user... Currently DayZ Planet offers the community 5 additional maps above the 2 that have been offered by the rest of the community. And calling something "crap" that is giving more content to the community show's your lack of concern about the DayZ Community and more about your own selfish agenda.

There were and are so many "fly by night" hosting offers for DayZ... it is hard to really know what the truth is. Look for a hosting company that offers more then just DayZ would be the first and most important thing to do. Personally, I went thru 3 different hosting companies before choosing ViLayer. I have had nothing but good things to say about my service with them. So much so that i now have them in my sigunature on these forums... You can choose who ever suits your needs... Ask around from people who actually are customers of the ones you are looking at... Don't be swayed by any 1 persons opinions about any hosting provider.

I have to say.... Bravo to Lee... Bravo to the community for doing this in a way that will ensure that only solid hives and people who want the game to run properly are in charge of releasing content to the large hives. I looked into this DAY.ST guys hosting... and it looks to me like he is just sub-leasing servers from a data center... Typical fly by night.. take advantage of the consumer to make a quick buck practice. I see where he says that he helped with features for bliss... well that's all fine and good, for the hosting companies involved... Where has he created any content? Where has he worked on any content for the community? EASY ANSWER HE HAS NOT... He has only shit on the people who are adding content... Only offered to pay money to get in on the labor of others who are putting this content out for FREE! What a sad ...sad... pathetic attempt to attack the guys who are doing something... then getting mad that you aren't getting $ off of their work... You sir DAYZ.ST are foul.. deceitful... underhanded... and otherwise a dirt bag.

Well if you own ARMA2 OA or combined ops... the mod is free... really a great game. Check it out man.

So... with your own words you have put ViLayer into the "people who are truly passionate about the game" list... Because clearly, they have been in business since 2009... And you fall into the latter category due to the fact that you started your company for the sole purpose of hosting DayZ servers.

Wow ... look ... it's another hosting company offering to help Josh out.... Can any of you guys please point me in the direction of the maps that have been released for DayZ other than the ones done by ViLayer? I don't seem to see any listed in my server browser... other than a couple Panthera 1.3 that were populated with around 50 players prior to the release of ViLayers version that currently has 2 or 300 players. Addressing: DAYZ.ST I have done a little investigating and found that this company started with DayZ and is making money purely from DayZ. How ironic that they are going after a hosting company that has been around longer and offers many other hosting options for many other games, dedicated servers/VPS / teamspeak/Mumble and other hosting options. Can you please explain how your company came about and what you have done to add to the DayZ community, other than offering hosting to make money from.

Here's an idea... TRY IT.. SEE WHAT HAPPENS! Then come back with the answer and you will be rewarded with my beans.

Vilayer does not resell from data centers. They use only top of the line best that money can buy equipment. They also limit to 6 or less DayZ servers on a box that other providers put 10 or 12 instances on. Just ask any of the hundreds and hundreds of server owners that use ViLayer currently. They will tell you that ViLayer is the best ... bar none. Look on DayZ commander or in your ingame server browser and count the amount of servers running.

You can access these files in your ACP. Simply go to your file manager/DayzFallujah folder/Battleye folder... there you will find all of the RTP files for each map you have run.

Go to your ACP and install the public version of the map you want to run.

They are using the ORIGINAL Panthera. Directly donloaded from Armaholic site... The fact that DayZ Planet coded the dayz part differently than whoever put that other one up makes no difference. People can play whatever version they want... The fact that he posted his in some obscure site like tunngle... yes it is obscure.. otherwise more people would use it, is not the fault of a hosting company for taking what was offered to them to host for the community and making it available for the MAJORITY OF PEOPLE PLAYING DAYZ... yes.. go count... there are more players on ViLayer servers than any other. This is due to the Customer support they offer the customer... the great performance that their servers give to the commnuity... and the amount of content that they have brought to the DayZ Community as well. So the 4 guys here that are bashing ViLayer are more than likely in the same clan and were butthurt when the servers they were hosting were dead... now they want to blame ViLayer. If they really want to do what is best for the community.. they would take down the map that 50 people are playing and support the one that hundreds and hundreds are playing right now as i type this.

Probably due to not looking at empty server... Perhaps that is a factor... the other version that is out might not be a good... or have differences that cause players not to populate them. Never played that version... But i know the way it is setup in the one hosted on ViLayer is being enjoyed by a very many players.

No one stole anything... The maps are there for anyone to download... the DayZ code is there from Rocket... By your way of thinking... any other hive that is hosting any other map is stealing others work and calling it their own?

So you mean the other 2 servers... ? Yes thats right folks... 2 servers were running this map prior to ViLayer releasing it to the community in a version that connects to Vilayers hive. And you can play on any HIVE any MAP ANY MOD you wish..nobody if forcing anyone to do anything. AND LOOK... THE SAME 2 ARE STILL RUNNING IT. Circled in RED

Well timberwolf... So you are saying that all the servers out there running MODS for ARMA2 are somehow stealing content from someone? Wow... you need to get busy man... there are hundreds of MODs... and thousands upon thousands of Servers that have been rented by gaming communities on many many different server providers running these maps and mods.... See ya in about a year when ya get done going and bashing all of those hosting companies.

DayZ is not a game... It is a MOD for ARMA2 ... wow what a waste of time this thread is...
