A friend and I were really digging the game, then hackers ruined pc games for me again. We were playing on us78 nwo server, had a good spot, campsite, water source, off the beaten path. My friend got lucky and found a motorcycle. A day later I was playing and a shortage of vehicles was being discussed in chat. I mentioned "they are out there because my friend found a bike", then an admin types, "who the f are you and why do you have a bike?" Then the server suddenly reboots, I log back in and whaddya know, the map has changed to pitch darkness and full rain, completely blind for everyone. I actually managed my way back to camp and was about to jump on the bike and take off to prevent the theft when suddenly I am spawned nearly off map in the middle of nowhere. Just tonight I tried another server, us 383. I was going for the heli in rog por, NE of electro and found that interesting castle and decided to explore. Walking up the steps I thought I must have bugged out and fell, breaking my legs. Luckily I had the needed supplies. After patching up I decided to head up the castle steps again, found some loot, and on my way back down I heard footsteps. I could see there was no-one inside so I crouched aiming at the only entrance. Then I hear, "boo" and an invisible player shoots me standing right next to me. I was really enjoying the game but the sociopaths have struck again. Is there some kind of xbox conspiracy to make people hate online pc games? Or are there really that many losers who will sneak around by themselves for hours just to get one hack kill, and get to say their epic little one liner. I think the most profitable pc game could be the one that somehow can fully prevent hacks, but how? Video streaming based? Best they could do with that is some shape or color recognition hack. Oh well, sorry for the downer winy story. I'm bummed man, was having alot of fun. Oh well, hail satan I guess.
