-1 No no no no, Dont like it at all, this game is supposed to be a SIMULATION of the zombie apocalypse. That would give it too much of an arcade feel. Sorry, but you'd be condemning lots of players to only using a very small percentage of the games full potential. -
Okay, we all know zombies don't really have any good loot... What if for every survivor killed (by zombies), spawned a few "survivor zombies" with loot such as rare items or guns that kept them alive in their pre mortem state. They would look different so you could identify them, this might make the game more dynamic. It would incite players to engage zombies rather then sneak around them. It would be a high risk/ high reward scenario. This way maybe more players might actually die by zombies thus making even more lootable survivor zombies! :D You could even go so far as to make "survivor zombies" more alert or aware since they are most likely fresher than the rest of the zeds, and they should never spawn alone, they should always be near a horde to make the catch difficult.

Well it can be completely random, just like spawned loot. They dont need to be exact replicas of the recently deceased, nor have the same gear, they can be just a zombie representing them with relevant loot, and why cant you find a gun on them? What if they had an AK slung over their back because they ran out of ammo and then dropped the pistol when they died?? Just a thought. Im not saying they should be common zombies at all

No the dead players wont rise, they will respawn as usual. All that happens is a certain kind of zombie will spawn with loot that can be identified as a survivor zombie.

Let’s face it, the .22lr round is underestimated. It can be, and is a lethal round. It’s certainly no .45, but it is still a projectile that travels at about 1200 feet per second and can do damage IF the shot is placed correctly. Tell me that a .22 round traveling at speeds faster than the speed of sound (sometimes) will not puncture a human skull. It’s possible that it won’t, but it can. I think this would be a nice addition to the game and add a variety because; 1.) .22 ammo is very small and light, you could carry hundreds in your pockets 2.) Its plentiful, most casual gun owners or farmers are likely to carry it 3.) You wouldn't waste precious ammo killing single zeds with well placed a shot to the head 4.) It’s quiet, I can’t imagine its louder than a suppressed weapon (no such thing as a SILENCED weapon). At least more quiet than large caliber rounds. Why give your position away to everyone and their zeds? This way you can stay unnoticed by bandits & zeds who are not in your immediate vicinity, it also has a smaller muzzle flash if any at all. It would be perfect for raiding those small towns where there are only a few zeds to clear, you could just post up at 50-100 yards away and quietly snipe zeds in the head one by one. Plus you can use it to hunt small game to cook for food. Not to mention a barn or the casual gun owner would almost always have a .22 on hand. Again, this isn't the powerhouse gun and should not be used in a heavily infested city. But when your out in the country side, hunting, or clearing just a few zeds why waste precious large caliber, loud rounds when you can plink away with your .22 at your leisure? Just my .02 cents, some people want realism, what’s realism without one of the most popular calibers?:idea:

Sounds good in theory, but i think it would ruin the game. -1 on this one sorry -
There needs to be more incentive for team work in this mod. I only ever get killed by bandits, this makes the zeds more of a nuance than the actual threat. I think there should be more incentive to work together because currently there isnt enough. If you work together your a little safer, but you have to share loot. Bandits obviously get the easy loot and thats why they kill each other, what do people working together get? Maybe if you work with other players you find better loot? Maybe find specific items that are only presented when you work with other players? I think something needs to balance this out because I believe the real threat should be the zeds, then the bandits. And in that order.

Pardon me Rossmum, you don't need to be rude just because this conversation is taking place over the web. For your information I did search and didn't find anything on the subject. Im simply attempting to figure ways to curb things like bandits posting up near spawn points and picking survivors off soon as they spawn because that's just plain frustrating. But I suppose that should be under a different subject entirely, and I suppose thats freedom of players choice..

+1 on this, I agree, I would like to see different types of shot shell too. Imagine killing that pesty bandit hiding in the grass with flichette rounds or even bolo rounds :) FUN!!!

Nighttime sucks and they need to lighten it up. Sucks even more for people like me who cant really play during the daytime...... +1 on this idea.

First off, the G17 is a 9mm weapon, and lets face it. 9mm weapons have a kill rate of only about 30%. So think the 9mm in this mod are quite accommodating. Also, I dont think an AK or anything for that matter besides a .50 is going to travel through a zed. So if you ask me the game is actually less realistic allowing you to drop a zed with 2 shots of a makarov. Im not nitpicking or talking shit, this is just what i think. BUT what I would LOVE to see in a .22 rifle, a .22 will most def puncture a human skull, but will not have enough velocity exit so the round will just bounce around inside the skull creating mush of human brain :), to be honest its my go to weapon for a zombie apocalypse. 1 headshot kill. I would like to see .22s, you could carry shit tons more ammo also.
