This is kind of the whole point of the entire game guys... The fact that people are more dangerous than zombies and all. It would be pretty boring if everyone was as friendly as you all. Sometimes I'm a bandit, sometimes I'm friendly, it all depends on my needs and what I have to protect :), happy hunting.

Its the zombie apocalypse, why are people not reloading their shot shell ammunition? Shot shell is the easiest of all ammo to reload, players can simply pick up their spent shells and reload them later on. Now, this is where it gets cool. The fantastic thing about shotguns, and what makes them THE MOST VERSATILE WEAPON available (not even debatable) is that you can pretty much put whatever the fuck you want inside shot shell. Don't have pellets? Fine, break a car window and fill that bitch with glass, but don't stop there, you can put metal shards, rocks, nails, you can even cut up a tin can :emptycan: and make your own little shrapnel round if you so please. This can potentially open the door for more versatile ammunition types and damage done. Maybe glass filled rounds might not do so much damage or travel very far but will require TWO bandages to stop the bleeding. Just a thought, if this were my apocalypse I would be reloading my shells with anything I found. Most people don't repair helicopters..

I would like to see real time plane crashes for example your looting Cherno, then a smoking plane files overhead and crashes in the nearby wilderness. Every player is going to converge on that site to fight for loot. Not to mention zombies walking out of the plane shortly after. Or maybe even NPCs with guns that will shoot back?? That is all

I get it, its cool :thumbsup: And I agree with you that it should be similar to other actions in the game. It shouldn't be so difficult it scares other players away, I mean hell I didn't even attempt to build a car in DayZ for the longest time because I thought it was too much work. I would assume it would be as simple as finding primers, powder & something to fill the shells with, then a reloading bench to slap it all together.

Yes but not everyone knows how to work on cars or helicopters either. They dont make that complicated, you wont necessarily need to find every component, but if you could find a few key ingredients and find a reloading bench in a barn or something it might be a new way to gather some freebie ammo.

Ok Im a gun owner so I cant get over this and it bothers me. I can pickup 12ga rounds in the game and I cant use them in my 12ga shotgun?? Or I have to "combine" four 2rnd slugs or pellet shot that's "technically" supposed to be used in a different shotgun to use it in the one I have? eg. using m1014 slugs in an 870.. This makes no sense and its pretty unrealistic considering the mod this game is created from.

this update sucks balls!!!! once you waste ATLEAST 5 min at loading screen you get to play for 2 min then either get booted OR every 3d rendered object becomes a jumble of shit. and makes it impossible to play. Im putting this game on hiatus for a while

I crawled through 1200 meters of grass in a gillie suit just to kill this asshole on top of the control tower of the NW airfield. It was the single most satisfying moment in my existence in DayZ.

They are pussies and should all be hanged! Once you have been fatally injured the game should recognize this and force the player to respawn upon next restart.
