Has anyone used the pen and paper to make a note yet? I was only able to write on a piece of paper once; a note to congratulate whomever killed me, but couldn't view it. I'd like to be able to leave notes to whoever kills me or finds my body. For example: today I broke my legs falling off a ladder while climbing to the roof of the apartments (DAMN YOU ALPHA!) >:(. I had a pen and paper on me, I tried to combine them to make a note just as I had done before but nothing happened. Perhaps the pen was ruined but I don't think so. The only thing that prevented me from rolling off the roof right then and there was that I couldn't make a suicide note. If someone was going to loot my gear on the street below, they were sure as hell going to read my note and my last intentions! As fate would have it, I was able to crawl down, battle through zombies while prone with only a Mosin and find sticks for a splint. But even still. I really wanted to make that suicide note <_< Damn you suicide note.....must...find...sticks..

This is because you suck at Day Z. The NWAF isn't far. RUN. Get some food and water, then RUN. It takes like 10 to 15 min of running tops. If you really can't even make it to the airfield you just really blow or you aren't patient. Go play Call of Duty please. Also understand the game is in ALPHA. Much of the loot/ features aren't even implemented yet.

Thats good info. Never even though of that. I think you should report that as a bug, your hotkeys should work no matter what position the weapon is in. Thanks for the heads up B)

Make sure to double tap shift to change your run toggle button. Make sure RMB hasn't been pressed. Press space to pull your fists up when empty handed, for some reason it makes you run faster. The guys running while really low to the ground are only looking staight down while running at full speed. If you hold ALT you can move your head around while doing this.

They are implementing the same method Valve uses to prevent hacks. That should help immensely.

Surgery ain't happening. Too much chance of infection. I like how fast the zombies are. You can still very easily outrun them, but when they chase you it forces you to move, possibly revealing your position to other players.

Mosin is more accurate than M4 in the game. WTF Rocket

Maybe they should play the game as it's meant to be played. Play the cards you're dealt. The process and hardship of getting loot is part of the fun.
