  1. Hi guys,

I recently found that my screen is dark, (as if it is night time, but it is daytime), if I turn post processing off. I also found that turning postprocessing on creates a white blur on the brighter things on the screen, mainly the sky and white parts of buildings. Is there something I can do to keep my screen bright if I turn it off or can the white blur be removed? Thanks!

  3. I'll try defragmenting, I have my memory set to default, and my 3d and interface resolution are the same. It is dark with my brightness all the way up, actually, with post processing off. I've also tried changing ArmA2OA.cfg like lycake said, but that didn't do much for me either.

    These are my specs:

AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.2 GHz

    8 GB RAM

    NVIDIA GeForce 7025 Graphics Card

    2 Terabyte Hard Drive

Tell me if you need any others.

  4. Hi guys,

I recently found that all the servers that I joined where dark, which i assumed was nighttime. I found that it was because my frames per second was too low to render light, and that i could turn all of my graphics settings to the lowest option except post processing, and it would be light. it is still choppy, and i have 2 questions.

    1. How can I increase my frames per second? I've tried a few things and none seem to work, and I'm pretty sure my computer meets the recommended requirement.

    2. Post processing causes choppy gameplay and white blurs to be on the screen, but it is the only thing that seems to make it light on each server that I join. Is there something i can do that can make my game light, without post processing?

  5. Are you sure it's night time, then, or is it just dark with not a whole lot visible? It might be due to some video settings if joining opposing time zones doesn't resolve your problem.

Otherwise, you might have to submit a bug report.

You were right it was because my framerate is really low, so the map renders in the dark. how can I increase my framerate then? I have everything set to very low

    EDIT: Fixed it, Thanks guys.

  6. Usually servers have their time zone in the server title. Look for GMT+/- or UTC+/-.

Find your time zone, then play close to your time zone during the day, or negate your time zone at night.

You've probably just been unlucky as of yet.

I've tried day z commander and the time that is listed seems to not be the same as in game, and i've tried my time zone (GMT-7) during the day, and it is still night...

  7. How can i find daytime servers? I started playing day z about a week ago, and every server that I try, it is night. Is there a way that I can find a server that is daytime? I try during the day, during night, crowded servers, uncrowded servers, and I have yet to find one in the daytime. Any help would be appreciated, seeing as my framerate is too low to get a flashlight to work well.

  8. Hi, Whenever i join a server, it is always night. I try crowded servers, uncrowded servers, and dayz commander. I cant seem to find servers that are in daytime. Is there some way to tell when they are day or night, or am I just bad at finding servers.
