no offence but servers like yours with 600+ vehicles etc.. is what makes me hate private hives. there just is no excitement in finding a vehicle on servers like that because when you see a vehicle your just like "oh....theres another heli, pfft.. ive already got 3" compared to official vanilla with less then 100 (probably less then 50) where you see a vehicle and you just sit there and scream with excitement and don't give a shit how broken it is, you would go to the very end of the earth to fix the damn thing.

I come from the west, very west of chernarus in a small barn in the wheat fields. that has been my home in dayz since the first time i found my first crashed helicopter with my first M107 :)

I really hope Standalone will bring back "the feel" for me, i miss my first few times playing when i was scared of dark (ingame lol) and zombies. i remember when i first went to the NWAF, it took me over 7 hours walk navigating will purely a compass and nothing else, it was great although i got as soon as i got there i got shot :P. soo many good experiences that all these mods and maps could never fill.

i used to go by the name "Stapo19" but people just kept calling me Stapo so it just stuck. the 19 is because im born on the 19th of october. Stapo is comes from my last name Stapleton. and just because i hate people pronouncing it "StAP-o", its pronouced as "Stay-poh".

yes i am aware that there are a few things that arent "set in the correct time period" but you must understand that this isnt even 1.0 yet, its only 0.2.1 which means there is alot of work to get it to that 1.0 stage which will be "set in the correct time period" as much as possible. Current things that a being worked on: - New 40's style food and drinks to replace the current out of place cans etc.. - More Variety in wearable clothings - Changing colour effects to give it that vintage look and removing more things that makes it not suit the "time period" of the mod

There is a lag temp FIX that has given out to server owners which will address all the lag issues everyone has been having... one LAG Free server i know is one called freeside sometthing,, So just filter "Freeside" and youll find it :)
