Internet goes down when I play DayZ

I registered to this forum to say I have the same problem. Usually happens right when I launch Arma II from six updater. I then have to reset the modem and router, but it will also disconnect periodically then reconnect during play. I have comcast with a linksys WRT54GL router and RCA DHG536 modem.
