i dont like the idea of adding any sort of skills/perks -1

u can call it whatever u want but the fact that over 700k people play this project make it a game and not a testversion that is being played inhouse where u add broken new mechanics. dont get me wrong, i like dayz; its a very decent game and although there are many bugs and gamebreaking exploits i have more fun with it than with other full price AAA titles, however i play dayz now whether i will be playing it in two or three month is a different thing... i dont know, maybe not, maybe... so I would like to see the current bugs and exploits fixed rather than new stuff added. dayz's game mechanics are good as they are, we dont need a lot more just some balancing and bug fixing...

it doesnt take much longer than 30-60min to get the basic stuff like matches/knive/hatchet food/water and a basic weapon, when i first started the game it was a real challenge to just get a hatchet, i enjoyed that difficulty! id like to see knive/matches/hatchet spawnrate reduction aswell as some adjustments to the gun spawns. maybe as some other people have suggested, starting without a backpack.

so just have more reserver water with you

or like in jagged alliance 2 where weapons degreade with every use and if u find a second weapon u can combine them to one good working one, gives a reason to keep looking for more military weapons even though u have one already
