So today I woke up, very eager to play the new 1.7.5.1 update for my first time. I updated, and loaded up a server only to get a message that I've been globally banned by Battleye. I tried a few more servers and still had the same message. That kind of bummed out my day, I haven't really played much since the 1.7.4.4 update because for some reason the bandit skin bug really got on my nerves haha, so I was waiting for the next update to see if that would be fixed. Anyway! I could sit here and tell you how I never hacked and blah blah blah, but I can't prove it and I know that there's nothing I can do about it. But what I would like to know is, will this sort of CD-Key stealing/hacking be possible in the stand-alone? I still strongly support the game and even though I don't feel like throwing another $20 at ArmA 2, I cannot wait for the standalone of DayZ to be released. So, I'm finished ranting now, feel free to post along with me. And I apologize ahead of time if this is in the wrong section of the forum. Thanks!

I've never Alt-F4'ed or disconnected to avoid a firefight while playing DayZ, however I have server hopped to scavenge supplies. I'm almost positive that was my first time join the server, because I don't remember ever getting banned from any servers. I've been kicked by admins for no reason, but I just ignored it. Now that I'm banned from this server it just doesn't seem right. Getting unbanned would be nice but the least I ask for is just an explanation for the ban.

Oh, I bought it pretty recently after all the nerfing happened. So I have nothing to compare it to really. I kinda got bored with it, I'll play it for 25 minutes here and there but the replay value just isn't there. After I hit 60 with my barbarian it was just meh. But anyway, back on topic! Can anybody help me or give me some kind of explanation!?

Depends on what resolution you run, I would recommend both running a low resolution and low graphics. My rig runs DayZ on lowest everything with 1920x1080 resolution. AMD Radeon 5750, Core i7 870, 8GB ram, all at about 50-70fps depending on where I am. If you haven't actually bought Combined Operations yet, download the ArmA 2 Free from steam and mess with the settings. I can't tell you how big of a difference your FPS would be from the free version and the full version knowing that it has lower quality textures which would make it run faster, but also because DayZ definitely takes more of a toll on my FPS then just Operation Arrowhead alone. But if you can run the free version at the playable rate, I can almost guarantee that you'll run DayZ just fine. Good luck!

Today I went to join the US 39 server, I connected using the DayZ Commander launcher (shown in Banned.jpg attachment) using the latest beta patch (95054) and of course with the latest DayZ patch (1.7.2.3). After I launched I went away for a few moments and when I got back I was greeted with the "You were banned." menu(Shown in Banned2.jpg attachment). When I joined it said there was nobody in the server, and there was no reason given for the ban. I'm sure I wasn't banned from the server before or I would have remembered that happening. Any chance that somebody known the server owner, or the server owner could unban me? Or at the least just tell me why I was banned and I'll get over it. Ingame name: Matt
