Yup, same thing happened to me an hour ago (the exact same thing, with a hacker and a boat. Seems like they know what they're doing >.<). I'm getting the "This server is running an incorrect version..." on every server. Tried to downgrade to 1.7.2.5 but still the same problem on those servers. So hackers can even "fuck up" legit players games? Do I really have to buy a new cd key just for this shit? My player ID: 30487302

Wow, ok. Seems like the problem for me now is solved. I've managed to switch servers with my gear still intact two times. Hoping this will last. I did not do anything to fix this, just wait. Had the problem for about 2 days.

As of now I'm still having this problem, I'm guessing/hoping that it will fix over time because it has to have something to do with the "hive server", can't see that this is a client side problem. Well, only time will tell :o

I've been trying on multiple servers, connecting, looting an item and reconnecting to find that the item is gone. And also killing myself but with no success.

Well, I've got a problem atm when whenever I log out/disconnect from a server I lose all my stuff in my inventory and backpack. The items resets to the beginning setup with painkillers, bandage, the cayote bp and a flashlight. Everything else stays the same, I'm at the same location, the same blood amount and so on when connecting to a server again. And this problem is on legit servers, not private/outdated ones. I've tried making a new profile, reinstalling OA, reinstalling battle eye and installing the latest beta patch. Nothing have so far worked. EDIT: This is not a "one time" thing, it's happening on all servers and to every item that I pick up EVERYTIME I logout/disconnect. Some help would be much appreciated EDIT: Wow, ok.
