Thanks for the replies. I dont bother being watched by BE, I dont do anything hacky. Hope that no server admin gets angry when looking at the logs or something (after all we didnt use it, just picked it up, noted that it was hacked via internet and dropped it). We made the server our home during the last couple of days and a local ban would be... not good. We dropped the gun on the ground some place near our camp. As far as I know this means it will dissapear after some time and will never be seen or heard from ever again. If we would have known it was hacked in the first place we would've blown up the tent. I am also strictly against hacked weapon use. Again thanks for the replies, I hope that this incident will just pass by. Edit: before I forget it... I will give you a couple of beans for the quick responses.

So my buddy and me were patrolling the coast today and stumbled upon a nice camp filled with the gunZ of our dreams. Of course we were doing two looting runs and happened to pick up some decent firearms. When we returned to our home, we wanted to check the weapons' stats we just found and did not find the "M4A1 Holo SD" with an underslung M203 in the DayZ wiki. So after a little googling it appears that this gun is hacked, scripted or whatever you want to call it. So we decided to drop it and not to save it. I don't know if the camp owners did the hacking as I definetly know that all other guns were legit (already seen them at other places and in the wiki). It appears strange for a hacker to have only ONE hacked gun in their tents. So are our actions bannable? Would it have been fine to keep the gun? After all we didn't hack or something but this weapon should have appeared in the serverlogs in the inventory of my buddy for some time. What do you do if yo stumble upon hacked weaponry and items? And even worse when you realise their not legit and have already picked them up.

An idea my friend and I came up with a few days ago. Currently if zombies attack a vehicle it gets damaged and will (if you are dumb enough not to get out and kill the Zed) finally make it explode. This appears a bit strange to me, but of course vehicles can't be Zombie-safe zones. So lets give those dumb windscreen glasses a task! Let the Zombies destroy them and if they broke all, they can attack the players that are inside a vehicle. This way a vehicle can no longer be rigged to explode by zombie punches and bites. At this moment windscreen glasses are almost useless and if using third person cam you dont need them at all. And even in first person it is only mildly annoying. So what do think? This way windscreen glass finally has something to do.

I did not consider it an Admin tool, but a cheat or hack or something like that. Thats why the title said "Cheating Admin".

So, I guess this is the right place to post this, as I just have to. It was too crazy and too strange for me not to tell anyone. Alright, so my friend and I already got looted up a little and where planning on entering a city. We wanted to engage from the woods as it is safest there and were scanning the area before going down the road. But before we could do anything, we were shot at, so we started wildly running up the wooded hills trying to get cover, we were hit multiple times and my friend went down to 400 Blood before he could bandage himself, so he lied down in the woods. I (no Ammo to shoot back) still had 8000 Blood (though bleeding) and to avoid any hits I kept running in circles, fast, very fast, and in an desperate attempt to make him stop i yelled "Stop shooting pls" in the direct Com Channel and a while after that "Stop shooting you Moron" (saying "Moron" is, although I consider it a mild offense, is my only mistake here). He kept on shooting... a lot of bullets, until he obviously ran out of ammo. Then.... "You were removed from the server" (or something similar in English, I got a semi translated German version and have not figured out how to turn it English completely; original: "Sie wurden vom Server entfernt") For me and my friend. I am not an expert but this is a kick, isn't it? I guess this guy was cheating because he was running up a zombie infested (litterally 20 or so) hill, shooting, and no freakin zed was engagin him! And because I was not trying to get hit, he kicked me? So is this an Admin that is giving himself Zombie Immunity and then hunts players and if he wastes all his ammo on them he gets angry and kicks? That sucks. We might even have gotten banned, I have not checked this yet. And if this friendly admin is reading this, dude we logged in in another server, and I in a heroic run, stormed the town and the hospital and got some Bloodplacks for me friend. We survived. How do you like that?
