Just a quick question does it still show your position on the map? If they did remove it what is the point of the map then because what if you can't figure out where your at?

Ok I have be playing dayz for sometime now and I really want to team up with I would say 2 other people and set up a nice camp and just have some fun! I do have skype and teamspeak so if anyone would like to just let me know and I'll get you the info.

Ok I was watching a youtube vid and when this guy spawned he had a pistol well as I keep playing and trying new servers no matter the difficulty I never spawn with a pistol its always the same thing backpack, bandage, flashlight, and painkillers,. Is this a bug on my part or the servers, or is it just something that has been removed? I honestly don't have a clue so please help me! -Thanks Adam
