  1. Zombies are MUCH better now. They are a tad slower and their movement is actually smooth and fluid rather than the ridiculous 90-degree zig-zag Barry Sanders juke-moves
  2. I can confirm what OP posted. I was at NWAF and I logged out. After logging back in, I spawned in Kamenka but I luckily still had all of my gear. This also happened to 2 buddies I was playing with, but they were in Stary before logging out and their respawn was Cherno - they also had all their gear. More of an annoying side effect of the patch than anything. I can live with it, but for chrissakes fix the artifacting once and for all. :/
  3. No, that's not it but thanks anyway. I've ran across it a few times before. It looks like a church that has been bombed and reduced to rubble. You can go inside it but there isn't any loot spawns.
  4. I'm looking for coordinates/approximate location of the bombed-out church. There isn't any loot-spawns there or anything, so I don't think it appears on the dayzdb map. I *think* it's somewhere outside of Berezino but I'm not exactly sure where. Could someone please narrow it down for me? Thanks in advance. I will give you my beans if you help!
  5. Yeah, a bit after posting this I figured on fixing that but I didn't want to skew the votes or whatever.
  6. Decided to make a poll to see how everyone plays the game once they are geared up.
  7. 25/usa looking for people to team up with -- add me on skype: sethceku No one under 18, please.
  8. Buddies and I took out a vehicle to the point of explosion/burning. My question is that once this happens, can a vehicle be repaired into driveable condition? For reference, it's the GAZ (grey). It allowed me to attach wheels, engine parts, and fuel tank parts just fine. According to the Wiki, it takes 1 scrap metal which I used on it and nothing about the appearance of the body changed. I also do not have the option to enter the vehicle. I can save it, however. Is this a fruitless endeavor or are we not doing something right? Could someone clarify this? Thanks in advance.
  9. I think I already know the answer to this, but never hurts to be sure. Is it possible to "flip down" the M16M203's grenade launcher sight so that it won't be in the way while I'm trying to aim? I'm guessing no, but could someone clear that up for me? Thanks in advance.
  10. Ah okay, thanks for the clarification guys. Glad my suspicions about regular servers is justified. As an aside, rocket or someone else should sticky a thread confirming and outlining the differences between recruit/regular/vet/expert servers. I've been playing for about a month so I wouldn't really need it, but it'd be very helpful for new players IMO.
  11. Assume you have an in-game map. In regular servers, when bringing up the map you will appear as a blue dot and thus can navigate effectively without a compass/GPS. In Veteran servers, this is disabled. I got that much. But, is it true that on regular servers that other players will appear on the in-game map as orange bubbles when they are within ~100m of you? I would really appreciate it if someone could confirm the accuracy of this. It's the main reason that I stay away from regular servers when I am geared. Thanks all!
