    Davos

I can corroborate this, as I was present on this server, and watched said player (Davos) participate in aforementioned acts. Not much time to fire up fraps for proof, as the guilty party landed his chopper less than 200 meters from the group whose vehicle he had recently destroyed (not something a player that had spent time searching for and/or repairing a chopper would do), and was summarily executed for his dbaggery. From what I've heard, choppers were removed in the last patch, the only way to spawn one is via cheating, so draw your own conclusions. I know proof is needed for an outright ban, but multiple reports should at least warrant someone taking a look at his activity. The speed at which he went from the vehicle he teleported into, into a chopper shows familiarity with whatever method he's using to cheat, I doubt it's the first or last time he'll use them. Very few people take the time to find cheats, to only use them once on one server. Server US1162 Roughly 1:20 PM PDT Chicago located server Suspect IGN Davos
  2. IGN Davos, teleported into a moving jeep, jeep then exploded from perfect condition, driving in an open field, no gunfire observed. Player Davos survives, and is then spotted in a chopper less than 30 seconds later.

    DayZ Stories

I had a really funny experience today. I was headed East to Electro, after spawning in Cherno, just jogging down the edge of the train tracks. I came to the point where the road bends, and I thought I saw something move up on the hillside. A shot rang out, and I hit the dirt, and a player's name popped up in the kill/chat area. I chose to get the hell out fo there, and while serpentining towards some trees, another one came whizzing past me. Followed by yet another kill. I managed to get down into a small depression, and I realized, the sniper I thought was shooting at me, was clearing the bandits off my tail. So I looted the corpses, and made my way up to the shooter. I offered him a magazine for his rifle I'd found, and a 50/50 spilt of the food and sodas, and we sat around his fire for a few minutes just shooting the breeze. All in all, a pretty good day in Dayz.

    I have become a monster..

I'm a bit torn, honestly. I'm kind of a jerk IRL, and I like the idea of killing other people for a can of food. It fits the theme of the game (as I percieve it) very well, and it does lead to a heightened sense of tension when encountering unknown individuals. One thing few people consider, when KoS'ing? I don't solo. If you see me, I'll be alone, but I don't play solo. So go ahead and put one in my noggin, but do it from cover, and don't expect that you'll get to loot my corpse. I've died 4 times so far, to other players (I've only been playing for a few days), and I still have all the loot I wanted to hang on to. Survival tip; a smart team has dedicated rifles where you least expect them. Never assume anyone is alone, being willing to co-operate could end up with you being added to the group, and given what you need to survive, rather than left in the dirt with an empty pack. See you in Cherno.
