Need help really bad!!! Ok so to start off with, I get a black screen anytime I try to open up Arma 2: Combined Operations Next I got the Ca Dubbing CouterAttack Message Then the Direct3D Then after installing the 3 most recent patches (tried all 3 seperately) I would either get the black Waiting for Host screen, or the Stopped Working and then crash. Just wondering if there is something that I am missing, also tried following this guide http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/36328-updating-beta-patch-fix/ which didn't fix anything.

I ran arma 2 then arma 2 OA then tried to run CO and got the black screen. So there is no fix to the black screen?

whenever i verify the integrity of the game cache i get a message that says "1 files failed to validate and will be reaquired"... that is after it runs all the way through. edit: decided to go ahead and try your guide, and on step 3, I don't have an app data folder... any ideas? Windows 7 if it matters.

ok, so I have followed all of the steps in order to be able to play Day Z, my problem is that whenever I try to Launch Arma 2: Combined Operations, a black comman type window pops up for like half a second and then disappears, and Combined Operations never runs. I am able to run Arma 2 and AO but whenever I try to run Combined Ops the above happens. I have uninstalled and re-downloaded numerous times, and I originally purchased the Combined Operations package through Steam, any ideas? and if possible simplify the instructions on what I need to do down, as I am not a wizard with a computer. Thanks for any help!
