    Sins of a hacking gamer...

This sounds like a post from Alcoholics Anonymous lol

    Feeling A little Awful.

I doubt it. Most people just start again, lesson learnt, time to adapt a new strategy and move on. If everyone who got shot by someone they trusted turned into a hacker or stopped playing, there'd be no one but hackers playing lol.

    Humiliated.

    Kill count. That is all.

You just turned a nice guy into a demoralised pk'er. Tsk tsk ;)

Just another one of those threads. Moving on.

    Zombie Sodomy?

You seriously posted a new thread about how to spell something? Prepare to be flamed my friend

    Committing Suicide?

I seriously doubt you'll ever get a true reflection on what people actually do because I doubt all those who DC will come here to admit it in a public poll lol. Of course 90% of people will say they stick it out
  8. Hi all, Essex girl woman here wishing to sign up. I'm hoping I can bring some support as a fledgling medic to your organisation :)

    Ammo Crates / Supply Crates

No lol, it's a script kiddie hack and definately not legit. However, weird zombie behaviour is pretty normal on some servers atm though, due to the bugged out zombies on the latest update.

    need help with direct chat

They might be trying to reply over the mic and you've turned your mic volume all the way down. Just a possible thought as I assume you don't use a mic to direct comm but the majority do. But as above, not everyone decides to talk back anyway
  11. Agree! It would be nice if we could tag each other somehow, with I dunno something as simple as an armband that only people who have tagged each other can see. Tags would have to be mutually agreed by both parties before they would work though. It doesn't even have to be an arm band/character customisation but maybe those we've 'tagged' could have a different crosshair colour to help eliminate trigger finger friendly fire. The game definately needs something to support the fact most being team up or play as clans.

Actually DayZ has a ingame Difficulty selector

Fully agree with OP. Why? Example: Met a guy in Zelengorsk today just now in the supermarket. He asked, "friendly? I only have 600 blood." Easy option : shoot him in the face Hard option : I warily reply and determine he's not going to shoot me (not yet at least), he's fainting all over the place. Might I add that whilst he was unconscious I could have taken the ultimate risk-free solution to this encounter by taking the easy option above. Instead I go out of my way to head back out into the forest so I could cook some raw meat, during the day, at risk from zombs and bandits alike. Headed back, got twatted by a zombie and gave the fella my meat and 2 cans of food to boot. End result? Neither of us got killed in a bloodbath - I had no morphine so if my leg broke during a shoot out I would have been screwed even if I killed him. He was able to finally walk away without seeing double and I walked away with a gift of 2 stanag rounds and a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart :) Win-win situation which can only ever result from the hard option. I can only summarise that the only true and absolute difference between bandit and survivor is that bandits get the warm fuzzy feeling when they kill blindly. Survivors get it from helping others. It's all simply a matter of what gets your proverbial rocks off lol.

Being bandit = easy difficulty gaming

  15. Is surely not from snipers, zombies, hearing bursts of a an M107 or grenades exploding the world around you. Not even that moment of uncertainty when a stranger with a mak is met and you're wondering if you should kill before he kills you. Nope. It's from the message 'Server will be updating in 5 minutes' when you're halfway through an infested town during the day and about 3 minutes away from the shop needed so desperately for food or matches cos you're one hit away from being zombie chow. 'Server will be updating in 4 minutes.' '...3 minutes' '...2' '...1' Wow lol, I just about managed to raid the entire place with not even a second to spare. That was pure knuckle biting intensity, right there. :P
