Still no luck... Not picked up a single item yet.

Im not finding this easy at all. I finally find a town. Nothing there. On the road for another half an hour, find another town, get killed. This seems impossible without a weapon or starting food or drink.

That's the problem, im proning/ crouching everywhere and just cant find any barns? I found a hatchet in a wooden block but couldn't take it? Guessing it was just a scenery item. Also, i cant enter any houses.

Hey, And it's killed by zeds before you all rage at me for moaning about pvp. Right, anyway, I have tried numerous times to get close to towns, but with no luck. How can i find these deer stands? Cheers Harrie

In my opinion, the no makarov thing sucks. But if theyre going for realism, not many people randomly carry a gun around do they :)

Hey all, I just started playing the game 5 minutes and the only significant thing ive done is take painkillers after jumping from a roof. So, at first i was shocked because i didnt have even the lowly makarov pistol, what am I supposed to do if i get attacked? Also, any general tips for starting out? Thanks

Couple of questions... What are "Deer Stands" How can I set up camps/ tents and fix vehichles etc? Thanks :D
