best idea ever!

I just spent the past 2 days splicing up all the footage into the lines I'm going to use in the video. I will start to actually edit tomorrow, for now I'm going to bed. I'm going to re-shoot 1 line tomorrow so if you have any other lines that haven't been suggested already this is your final chance! video will probably be up within 24 hours. Thank you for all your support and wonderful suggestions :)

Realistically I'm not going to buy a WiiU just for this but I would LOVE to try it out. This looks really good!

With the suggestions you gave and the ones I came up with myself I ended up on 117 lines that I shot 3 times for 3 different characters. I just started the editing process and it's going to take a whole helluva lot longer than I anticipated. I'm probably going to end up cutting it up into a few episodes so if you have more suggestions bring them on. Thanks to everyone and stay tuned for the video! :D

The response to this thread has been very overwhelming and all I have to say to that is: thanks guys! The response has been so big in fact that when I wrote down all the suggestions i thought worthy of being filmed and included my own ideas I ended up with 67 lines. that's a lot, and it's going to be fun trying to edit it down to include only the best stuff. However, the overwhelmingly large amount of lines has made it neccesary to make characters. I could use a little help with this. So far I've got the army clothes-guy character who takes the game very seriously, the noob and.. i don't really have an idea for a "normal" character yet. I need a little help with this so I thought I'd ask: what characters do you know of that I should use?

I want to clear things up and say that it's not "shit new players say" or "shit noobs say" it's "shit dayz players say". all players, regardless. Could i get some sort of proof of that? cos if it's true i might use it.

When you try to put your active primary weapon into your bag and it gets destroyed by a glitch that destroys an item if it is moved to a bag that doesn't have enough space available to store it. I know there's a spesific word to describe this but I can't remember it. What word Can I use for it so that everyone would understand? Finish this sentence for me: "Did I just ___ my AS50?"

I still feel like shit for doing this, i felt bad instantly afterwards and I tell you right now, I am NEVER doing anything like this again. I was at the army base at balota and i was very low on blood. I had raided it trying to find a gun and got overrun by zombies. I run into this guy who saved me and befriend him. we raid the airstrip together and I tell him I need blood and we should head for cherno. We fight our way there together, raid the apartments and make it into the hospital. we gather supplies and he finally gives me the blood transfusion. I say "thank you" and immediately shoot him in the head... I find it amazing that a game can play with your conscious like this but I immediately regretted it. This guy trusted me! He was a friend. someone I could trust and would back me up in a bad spot. When I shot him i immediately felt empty. and very alone. I will do my very best to be a good player from now on and not be a murderer.

This exact same thing happened to me! In damn near the exact same location! funny. Anyway, I'm right outside cherno, I get shot and break my leg, then i switch servers and the hourglass runs out and nothing happens. I tried going on another server and the same thing happens, hourglass goes down and nothing. Now, and for the past 3 hours, I have been completely unable to join ANYTHING! it's stuck at the loading screen. Could someone please help with this?

I just downloaded the update from last week but I'm a little unclear as to where to put it.. do i put it in the @DayZ folder? do i put it in the .rsync folder inside the @DayZ folder? do i put it in the .pack folder inside the .rsync folder inside the @DayZ folder? do i put it in the addons folder which is inside the .pack folder inside the .rsync folder inside the @DayZ folder?? Or do I put it in the other addons folder inside the @DayZ folder? Or is there some other folder I'm supposed to use? and do I restart after I do this?

that worked! I spawned in as a bandit :S One more question: are there dogs in the mod yet? I saw some youtube videos.. if not, when? and how do you get them?

I took a week's worth of gameplay footage and edited it down to this little gameplay/compilation tribute to the most unique game I have ever played! I didn't start this channel to do gameplay videos but if you like what you see here I'll consider making some more :)
