That's actually what I posted this to find out. These issues are the ones I see as the most serious ones and I just want to know if they plan on fixing these first and then move on to adding features, ect, or if features are priority and then they will fix this afterwards.

I was fully kitted out and travelling up north today, as I was running across a field with hay balls I saw another player running out of the trees towards me. I hid behind a hay ball till he got closer and I was able to see he had no weapons and was alone, ect. I get out of cover, approach him and say hello. As I try to communicate, saying "I'm friendly, do you have a mic" ect, he puts his hands in the air, gets on his knees and proceeds to put his hand behind his head. All the while I'm saying things like "do you need anything, dude stop doing that, get up, put your hands down". Eventually he gets up off his knees starts to walk off and eventually starts to run. He never said a word and I'm left standing there wondering what the hell just happened. It didn't use to be like this in the mod did it? It was never like this. Kos, general unfriendliness and banditry was always present in the mod but the general mood and attitudes of strangers meeting in the game was never like this.

I'm not the uploader, I was just part of his group. We eventually found 2 others to play "the most dangerous game" with but the server completely lagged out on us and we had to quit.

I don't like to shamelessly promote myself but I DO like to impart knowledge! So here it is. This is a video I just recently put out: I'm farely inactive on youtube and I checked, only 20 or so of my 488 subscribers clicked to view that video. Yet it's almost at 1000 views and has 10 comments and a bunch of likes and it's earned me 10 new subscribers in 2 days. How? Why? It's has a structured story, its scenarios are easy to understand, short and sweet and with as little boring content as possible. Some audio commentary has been added in post by me in order to create a story, like the beginning is a continuation from the first episode where I died and my goal in this episode is to find my friend who died with me. When I made this I had already recored the footage of me finding my friend again, we met at nwaf because we just happened to be close to each other that day and we played together again for a few hours. Knowing this, I sneak a line into this episode about me and my friend having a deal that if we ever got seperated we would meet up again at nwaf. Thus setting up the plot for the next episode! It's just small things like that that makes a difference. Try to make things interesting and fun and try to play with a goal in mind, that always makes for better videos. And always try to talk to people instead of being hostile, it makes for much more interesting gameplay. But never give them an inch either, always be on top when you talk to people, because it's no fun watching a video of you getting owned. A good mood is very important as well, laugh at situations you feel are frustrating or shitty, a sunny disposition goes a long way on youtube. Add music for your intros and outros if it fits your video, use copyrighted music if you're not worried about getting paid for your vids, personally I find it a lot more liberating not having to worry about licensing music. I just make these for fun and that's the way it should be for everyone, ESPECIALLY in the beginning. Make sure to have plenty of hdd space because a 10 hour gameplay session might only turn into a 10 minute video. But I guarantee you, those 10 minutes will be worth its weight in gold if you put in the effort to edit it together like this. Good luck man!

How and or when will we be able to create cinematics for the standalone the same way we did with the arma 2 editor?

This will do wonders for your communication with other players. Right click your sound icon on your toolbar. Then click sounds. Then right click your microphone, the one with the green check sign. Then go to properties. Then levels. Then boost your microphone up to +10.0 db. I get crystal clear audio now, no matter what. And I have a pretty terrible mic.

I could really use one, something to help me figure out distance by eye.

Is each square 100 meters on that map? Cos tha'ts exactly what I was looking for.

I have some questions about that bitrate. 14 to 24 is good but if you up it it will be better? How much?

So my "healthy" character died and I got my loot and food back and went to a well. I drank till my stomach was full and then filled up on food but I ate too much and I got sick. Then I ate som charcoal to fix it and I got more sick. Not really sure what to do now. How do I cure myself? Also, how do I avoid eating too much when trying to get "healthy"?

I've been wanting to do a Dayz lets play for a very long time. I know EVERYONE else is doing it as well but please watch for a bit and give me a chance, I would really appreciate some feedback on this.

That was the best god damn thing I have ever seen in DayZ.

I find myself in a bad situation, I went north, I'm all kitted up but I got hit by so many zombies, some of the invisible so now I'm so low on blood my screen is extremely blurry. I read somewhere that blood regenerates when you're full but it doesn't seem to work. What's the deal with that? Also, what do you need to do to do a blood transfusion? And what happens exactly when you do one and the blood types don't match?

How did you fit the stanag mags in the m4? I tried it and it didn't work. Am I missing something?

I played on a server with 40 people, walked from zelenegorsk to nwaf to devils castle and down to elektro. Not. A. Soul. Plenty of invisible zombies tho!

I have an acog and an ammo box, canteen ect, a lot of things didn't make it into the screenshot. I have pretty much everything I'd need now, I'm just hanging out on the coast trying to help noobs and shoot bad guys.

Exactly how much would I need to eat? Cos I ate like 4 units of food and still nothing.
