So I wanna get back into Dayz after taking some time away from it, I have been playing a little over the past week, but I'm sick of lonewolfing (which led me to stop playing before hand). I was wondering if there was any uk players looking to team up that are sensible/serious but can have a laugh at the same time. I have pretty decent knowledge of the game so I'd like to play with more mature people. If you fancy it, add me on steam; mooneyno1 Also, I have a problem with my microphone. When I'm not in a game (or in a game but minimized.) My microphone will be clear, no static, loud, the most perfect mic ever. But as soon as I'm in a game, I'll have this weird static that people can hear in the background of me talking, It's almost like feedback but I have no idea how to stop it. I'm running a creative x-fi sound card with a roccat kave headset, but my mic jack is plugged into the onboard sound using realtek hd audio (the sound card I have gives really bad volume for every mic I use and I can't boost it). I'm trying to fix this, but wondered if this has happened to anyone before and knew a fix, running windows 7 ultimate 64bit. Thanks, Mooney!

In my opinion they could just make it like they do on whitelisted prive hives, if for example there are 2 servers setup to the same hive, if you want to DC and join the other, you must wait a certain amount of minutes. Say for example, 15. Then it would stop a lot of people in my opinion.

JSRS soundmod is pretty awesome, but there's only a handful of servers that use it! :)

I don't know what it is. I judge a lot of stuff with my 1st experience. I played namalask (spelling?) managed to find a deer stand thing within two minutes of spawning and found an m16 and then the other day I tried taviana out, the first town I come too (boye), I kill a guy and he has all the good gear, coyote backpack rangefinder nvg's m4 CCO SD and it makes me think. This would not happen in Chen and it puts me off, cause it makes me think that its just a map with a lot of weapons and seems to easy and I get put off. I dunno, maybe it was lucky but stuff like this never happens to me.

Really really want to use that soundmod, but the Private hives I play on don't allow it :(

But wasn't it a momumentual cok up? Cause they trained the dogs to go under the tanks but in training used their own tanks so they just ended up blowing up their own men?

Me and a friend were headed north from elektro towards stary, I have an enfield in hand and my friend as an akm with 1 mag. We see a chopper crash site and decide to take a closer up, as we move closer we come across a deer stand with an m16 x3 stanag rounds. My friend picks it up and continue to the chopper. About 150 meters away we scope out and look for any possible targets that might be watching us or the crash site, upon first inspection it all seems clear so I start to crouch run to the chopper, just as I'm about to leave the bushes into the open, I spot a player looting the site, I yell 'STOP' to my friend and tell him what I see. We wait, for him, to finish what he was doing, minutes later he starts to leave and runs east accross our view, in a '3...2...1...' like fashion we pepper him with enfield and m16 rounds and the man quickly drops to the ground. We run to his body, take his M4 CCO SD and my friend takes his dmr, loot the rest of his body, blood bags, food matches etc, leave the chopper, hide the body and continue on our way to stary. Got my heart racing but this was my first planned kill with a friend. :)

At first when I went to cherno and stuff I didn't know where to look... After a while of trial and error (me being killed, either by players or zombies) you learn how to approach, where you can't be seen from which direction etc and you learn the best possible loot spots, for example; cherno, coming from the s/e I would hit the supermarket, then the church, loot 2 out of the 4/5 pubs then hit the appartments. then I will head north from the appartments and go straight to stary. This always ends up with me getting some decent starter loot and enough to put up a fight against other players, also, this might seem daft but playing on a server that is night time is very very fun, and can be very rewarding, zombies notice you less so you don't aggro as much and can be more loot (automatic restart = less populated = people tend to sit still in the dark.

hehe, I currently have noone to play with and have been playing solo for 95% of my dayz playtime. Trying to get my mate to buy arma 2 but it would be nice if I could find someone to play with! Anyways, I'm off to work :(. Catch you later.

Registered on your server! Seem like a good community so I will see you on your servers from time to time! I'm also on your guys teamspeak at the moment but have got to go to work in 5 minutes. Might see you on later tonight though. Question, Do your servers full up?

Was in a server the other day when me and the rest of the server were dropped into the ocean. Now I don't fancy swimming back as that will take hours and I might even starve/die of thirst first. Is there any quick way such as commands etc to die quickly as all I wanna do is start again. Thanks, Mooney.

This might sound strange to ask, but can't dayz admins (rocket and the likes) somehow kill my character? Or move me back to the shores?
