Hmm, Am I just not finding the proper servers then? I'd like to play the real game to apprichiate what rocket saw.

Crashed helicopters are very rare, and spawn in the open plains of the map. Which covers abour 2/3 of the entire map. They never spawn in a specific place, and iot is diffrent from server to server, so good luck hunting. Military camps and Deer stands are you best bet in finding loot. Best way to survive is to have a team, designate a medic, food horder, Overwatch (Sniper usually) and other roles to create synergy amungst yourselves. Other than that, get a gun, get some food/water, as fast as you can and run north.

I thought this was 'pro' tips. not 'shit-you-learn-the-1st-day-of-playing' tips. Also airfirleds have a high probabiliy of death, and sometimes don't carry that great of loot for its risk. Crashed helicopter sites have the best loot, and they are also very rare to find. They spawn in the open fields randomly in the map, and only about 5(?) per server.

depends on the 'gear' if its just gear from cherno/elecktro you need to hed up north and hit up military bases airfields and deer stands. then you get 'better gear' to where you can then 1)build a car 2)hunt heli crash sites 3) go on a mass murder spree until you die and start over agian

Dunno about the moble part, but im pretty sure one may be in the works. about the servers, that is agianst the rules. Either those servers are already outside of the hive (like the 1/1 servers) or they need to be reported due to breaking server rules. Which brings up the fact that you need to study up the rules of hosting a server. Since the game uses a persistant world mechanic, you need to follow a few rules to keep the legitimitcy and fairness between players. For example, if you had a server where only you can be on it, it isnt fair that you can whore a whole server to yourself, and get all the best gear, THEN go to another server and flaunt it. If you loose it, oh well! Back to your private server to whore out loot agian. Not fair.

Step 1: Tell poeple you get errors and can't play the game Step 2: Never say the exact error(s) that you get Step 3: Call the game aweful without providing sufficient information to actualy get help Step 6: Get pissed that no one can help you I found where you said the error was: Either 1) you pirated the game 2) you need to buy the game for a valid serial number 3) go to the provider you bought the game from (Steam, Gamestop, arma2.com) and contact their support that you have an invalid serial number (be sure to prove you bought the game with a reciept) If the error is 'invalid seral number' then its pretty fucking obvious.

You are wrong. You cannot play DayZ with A2:Free. Since A2:AO only works with the A2 game (not A2:Free)
