Why not update your old thread with your specs? If you have $311 to spend, and you have an intel CPU. go for Nvidia 500 series. (600 if you want to blow it all) -
Uh, XP is slowly (by slowly i mean the next year) being out-dated. Windows 7 is so far the new kid on the block which is admittingly better than vista. But XP, in terms of system stability and other nerdy stuff, is better. So for gaming strictly, Windows 7 If you're a hyper nerd, you shouldn't even be asking this question

As stated, its better to build (or buy a prebuilt) desktop if you mainly game from home. Save the lappy for traveling and lightweight use. edit: Uh, a dream machine? ~1.3k To run DayZ - about 500 or so. To run all the latest games - about 700-800 or so. The most expensive components you will be buying is the motherboard, and the processor (CPU). Ram is dirt cheap, and GPU's are mediocre. If you are not, and do not know anyone who is tech savy (who could build you a computer if you bought him a beer). Buy a prebuilt. -

I went from Stary to NWAF to randevú with a teammate for morphine. 2 clicks out, traveling 1 meter a second. Ended up 200 meters out until he was able to come get me (there were in an intense firefight with 2 separate squads). Do the math yourself.

There have been cases (including myself) where vehicles do not save and randomly despawn. I in fact had an ATV stockpiled with phat lewtz (medicine and survival stuff) Disappear when we fixed up a car and went to retrieve the ATV.

it isnt a 100% fix. It -may- work, but will not permanatly fix it.. all that dose is flush (or refresh if you will) your graphics.
