Its really server specific i have come to find. There are a lot of servers that load you in nice and quick, then there are some that take for fucking ever. -

Hey, hey. Its not my fault I can spot seaweed monsters for dayz and you cant see someone 2 meters in front of you. :P -
If a server restarts, or if one loots an item and logs out in an uncertain amount of time. Items seems to disappear, or rather, revert back to an old save It seems to me that the persistent server is not updating enough of peoples inventories. Its now to the point where players do not know if their things will be saved when they log out, or if they will have the old items they had 5-10 minutes ago. This is also a possible exploit to be used in terms of duping. It is frustrating, but I believe it is related to the persistent server's ability to update/upload everyone's inventory. Just a guess really.

I've only flown a total of 3 hours and I can preform a barrel roll, backflip, and land on top of castles and small openings in forests. Its not too hard to handle. but it isn't as easy as BF3 flying.

1) I believe it is intended, but there are more and more poeple bitching about it (i have no issues) that rocket might lower their speed. 2) Yes, if you watch a town from a fair distance, and see zombies spawn, a player has been there recently or still there, exercise extreme caution.

You can find a G17, that has a flashlight attachment. Also, glow sticks are a good source of light that have limited visual range. Red being the brightest, blue the lowest, and green somewhere in the middle If you fancy night server, its best to use chemlights as you have a source of light around you, as well as a secondary. Using a flashlight is a sure way to get spotted and die.

DayZ Devs have no control over the weapon nerfs, This patch affected the whole of arma. Every mod, every mission, every player that logs into ArmA.

I've ben in towns where there was literally nothing anywhere, no spawns. Sometimes it's you desynching (lagging within the server). So either 1) log back into the server 2) find a new server. -

BF3/CoD/CS Is that way ----> this isn't a fast paced Shooter yo. plus a full on sprint with hip fire is highly inaccurate, you would literally not be able to hit the broad side of a barn. -

OH god, at NWAF, as i was overwatching, some friends shot their primary's to kill zombies. The next thing you know they were having their own fire fight, against zombies. Its like Left 4 dead when you hit a car alarm and the horde comes. -

yeap, but they wont come back into the game very happy. -
The zombies are attracted to the light, so they will run to the source (the stick) this is also the same affect for smoke grenades.

No, your character is saved VIA the persistent server (On the hive if you will) So when you reinstall, your character is as it was left (unless there was a wipe)
