Did u dont think your prices are a litte bit to high? I dont know the situation in the US, but in europe u get 4x2,66Ghz, 16GB Ram and a 1TB HDD for about 50euros, with Windows Server 2008 it costs about 70euros :-o

I have a SVD Camo for long distance, for middle distance i have a M4A1 CCO for very short distance i have a clock. In my case automatic weapons nice for middle distance fights, in a building i love a M1911 but i lost my :-/ so i used the clock cause of her big magazin :P

In this case, if the team doing nothing i ask my WHY should i connect to the hive? I thinked that the hive was created to get the server closser together, but now i must see that its just a nice way to abuse the game, and have "fun" on others server cause u can get all stuff on your own server.. team comment whould be nice

Hackers/Exploiters have still the same reasons for this, this guys join the game without equip, they just adding the stuff they need and harass other people for fun and destroying ther game

Jear thats true Graz, but if u want to have a good Community u must be a good Admin/Mod. At all, i know that making a server is just possible on Windows based Servers, if there is any linux server out i try to make a server, but i dont have windows servers at all (sorry guys, ms licence costs just to high for me) I still have the server files and the know how to build a little server pool (think 1-3 servers all with one DB) but i dont have the money for windows based systems :->

You think its wasting of time to say the community that this server admin sucks a lot? If u think so nothing will change at all, if the community get closer and tell each other thinks this game whould be amazing, and to be amazing you need to figure out the black sheeps at all, and definitly this guy is not a white one. In my case if i was on the team, i would "kill" the characters of the admin and his teammates, and if he do this shit again i whould bann his server from the hive, sorry, but this is just bullshit what he done, if it is his server disconnected to the hive, okay fine do what he want, but i think its not the idea of the game to get best loot because u are an admin that can kick all from the server..

The good thing on this is, u dont havi ServerHopping 4 gear, and re position to someone, the other thing, if the server goes down, it goes down and all lost. the third good thing, if there is a good admin, he propatly can bann cheaters/exploiters ect.

Why they should shut down? Its a normaly MySQL Database, nothing more. if it just for your server its totaly easy to set up, all server admins should know how to do this, is nothing more than make a DB for a Website or a Forum. If u want to create your own "nonHive"-Hive that share datas with other servers its a little bit difficulty than just a stand alone server, cause u have to create a connecten betwenn gameserver and "nonHive"-Hive server, think in case of DC its create a lot of traffic so u just can hope that the internal traffic dont cost :P

I dont know if it is forbitten or not, but its possilbe to create "noHive" servers, you can also share the DB of the servers (all connect to a MySQL DB). Depends how much traffic the DB server can handle, but i think its possible to create a Regular,Vetaran,Expert Server that just handle the same nonhive DB

Hey all, on LU 222 i think somebody hacked or a admin abuse happens, at 22:30 all players get to the same spot (a supermarket) and everybody get shooted, i prevent this by disconnection fast (just get one shot fall into shock on the ground). Can anybody pls look if this was an hack or admin abuse?

OKay in this case, is it any help to know the server and time to finde the hackers?

Hey, i want to join LU81 with my girlfriend, if we both joining the sever we got kicked after 1-5 sek. from the server, but 11 other players are permanetly play on this server. thing the clan want to be play without anyone else. regards Suito

The idea of this is realy not bad, but i think in case of Arma2 Engine and DayZ its impossible to do this. At first, this makes a lot of more Traffic, cause u have to link the server each other, they have to communicate to each other. The other side is this server jumping, its not so easy as it look like. :-7 dont know if u ever get this in arma2 or arma3 engine, cause is not the mainpart of the engine.

I agree with u and dont agree with you, they musst be some option to give u blood without a team and without food, but in the other case .. if a real person just lose a lot of blood he is not able to give him blood by himself. In DayZ case, i think it should be possible to self give blood until u have more than 7500-8000 blood, if u under this value u arent able to do this. This is in my opinion a good idea to take this, u are able to play solo but team-playing is much better than do anything solo Think about it.

Okay i give u some facts, cause its my hobby :-P At first there are different types of Quiver, one small examples: a back Quiver (thing that one everyone know ;)) than u can have side Quiver who on your legs. A side Quiver hase normal 3-4 tubes, each tube can handle normaly 3 arrows, if u push then in they can handle up to 5, but at this the arrow get damaged, so u just should put a maximum of 3 arrows per tube. The biggest back quiver i ever seen can handle about 15 arrows, but this was a hudge quiver, normaly u can handle 9-11 arrows. For DayZ i think they should be a "special bag" like one of thes: handle 8 arrows At all i want to say: a modern composite bow can handle up to 1000m if u shot with a launching angle about 45°, but in this case the arrow take some times in the air (about 2-3mins) and u cant even hit something because the arrow totaly dont go in your target ;-) a crossbow has much more power than a bow, so the range should be higher, but i never shot a crossbow with aiming (just of fun) hope we get a good bow, normale range should be about 300-400m. best regards

Yes u can kill all animals with hatched, but on rabbits its difficultly cause there are verfy fast and u need some hits to hit them, but after this u got 1 steak and "800 blood". BTW: some guy says he dont get meat from the animals, its a server bug, search a other one or if u know the admin told him to restart server (this mostly happens to bigger animals :o)

Haha, had the same problem yesterday, 3 guys come to me to want me loot, so i run away, true a lake and go into this stones there.. hanging around like a shit and jumping down an up like a zombie :-o the 3 guys want to kill me, but hey i shot them, think they cant get me cause i glitching into this stones, but they shot at me, so i shoot back. after this is pressing [v] like an idiot, come out for 1m and fall in again *sad* after about 15min pressing my [v] key i come out of this hell :-D

Also happens to me yesterday, played a whole day to get a Remington 870 and combined it with a flashlight, after this want to switch back to my hatched, cause i want to silent kill the zombies before me to get into a supermarket. For this i put my Remington into my ALICE pack with 11 Slots free. I know that weapons can disappear after putting then in a full back, so I order some Stuff out to get free space. After this my Remington was in the Bag, and i saw it in the bag. Now after i cleaned up the supermarket (just found some beans) and go outside of town i want disconnect cause goingt to my girlfriends PC to check where she is. After this i look in again and all was fine, i switch my remington back to my mainhand and go my way. right after this i need to use my hatched again, i put back my weapon to bag and just in this moment my weapeon disappears .. and i still have 13 Slots free in my alice bag. I totaly hope you fix this as soon as possible, cause i think its a very importan bug in the game. Otherwhise i Have a idea, think most people just want to switch between hatech and primary weapon, why u cant put a primary weapon in the toolbar? Maybe the weapon should use about 3 Toolbar slot, but i think its the best way to avoid this glitch :o
