the hacking problem just can solved by BIS, not by the DayZ Team! Understand this -.- Its this "crapy" arma2 engine who handels everthing on the client side, not server side.

Hey guys, our server was under hacking attack and we think allmost all cars are in the area of no where, specialy there all on a island *year* .. so is it possible to reset the cars data? Cause we destroy them and they still joing there :-/

If i do this, are the tents still saved or there lost too?

Why i shoot at unarmed guys? Rly? Okay let it explain: I was together with some guys of my team, we found a UAZ, filled it and so one. Than we standing in the grass, want to refill our waterbottels, suddenly a guy runs to us .. screaming friendly friendly, so we dont shot him, we say, do you not have a weapon? he says no so we killed his zeds, after this i told him he can get the m1911 from the uaz but what did he don? he tried to steal the whol UAZ, his bad was my AS50 .. thats the reason why i shoot at them.

as a bandit you shot everyone in your sight, but survivors will know that is a good guy and maybe not shoot

I dislike the bandit skin, but a medic skinn whould be great .. guys with zero murdering and help other people should get this ..

Hi Sir's, i have a problem to understood the car logic of DayZ. At first, i have a UAZ, Wikipage told me following things about it: 50 Item Slots 10 Weapon Slots 7 Backpack Slots So okay, now i understood that i can put in 50items, 10weapons and 7 backpacks, but wow its looking wrong .. in my UAZ i had following items: 6 jerry cans (6x3 = 18) 5 meet ( 5x1 = 5) 2 wheels (2x6 = 12) 1 class (1x2 = 2) 2scrap metal (2x3 =6) This make totaly 43 Slots of inventory, means i have 7 Slots Free right? Now i puttet in 2 Weapons, mean i have following: 7free slots inventory, 8 weapon slots and 6 backpack slot (have a backpack in car) But now .. all my jerry cans are faded .. did i something wrong or why there are deletet? So can anybody explain this to me?

i like the base idea, but at all there musst be .. says around 1000 BP and a 50% chance to get infected ;-)

The worst thing in DayZ is that a hacker can do everthing with you, i dont care if there have a wallhack or something like this, but if they teleport me, turn me to dogs .. that is mean -.- and THIS are things handelt by arma2 engine :-/

There is no anti-hack protection at all, even Punkbuster or VAC2 or BattleEye can be hacked, even fcking Warden from blizz has a anti-warden function >_>

If he is global banned he should arrive the message like "battleeye global bann #3323f" or something like this. German: Wenn du global gebannt bist dann solltest du die oben genannte Nachricht erhalten, in den Fall .. ka? Kannst du noch auf andere Server?

I dont know why people crying that non-hive servers are sooooo bad and destroy the mod (oh come on on u rly think so?) I like non-hive server, too. Why? Cause my played time on a HIVE server i visit a lot of servers, after founding a good one, i still just connect to them, and hey i also connect to them. I think lots of people just join 1-2 servers and found there "home". So private-hive is much better than hive in this case, caus no-one just can jumping barracks for loot, or DCing in Battle just to join behind u. If you just found 1 good non-hive server i tell you, you never leave them!

Year thats true, if u overfill a backpack than stuff is going to hell, but why there are seperate backpack, weapon and itemslots listed to the wiki if there all the same? :) Can anybody please explain this?

And still there is a way to make your own non-hive server ;-)

Looks like a server Problem, try a other server and try to cut a cow or something, have the problems serveral times, too. Server restart solved problem in my case

Hey all, before some hours a hacker teleport me around the map, make me a dog, kill me, give me after this new stuff kill me again, teleport me again and now.. each time i log in in DayZ i get a Hourglas cooldown for around 5 minuts until i can play .. so my question is .. what have i do to that the hourglass goes away on login? regard Suito

Jep i died allready after this, and stay around 10 min. after to log out and if i relog i still get the hourglass :-( still have full blod and nothing wrong on hud

The files are still public so everyone can host dayz under arma2 not connected to the hive, so its look like that the last version of arma2 dayz still also have a public server with own db ..

yesterday i found a bus, repair it and drive players from one town to a other town until a fcking idiot came to kill me, but i saved all my gear in my tents so iam dont worry about this :-o
