Yeah you can run it aight on that system : ) Atm a fair few of us are getting horrible FPS so I would hold off buying it just for now. If ya do don't go complaining : D

Weather is grey and cloudy but normal.... fps is really really low. I am going to try deleting all the dayz files and then redownloading them! Edit: It improved frame rate a bit but its still unplayable, not sure if the rain has anything to do with that though.

Yeah 1.6.01 is still unplayable.... : (

I think perks and classes kinda suck... in this game you learn to get good at something your self, not have the game make you better at it. The only acceptions would be reload speed, the more you reload the faster your character gets same with healing. But everything else.. like loot drops, weapon accuracy should be up to you. I can imagine most people that play Dayz have never played vanilla arma 2 and they dnt understand that you have to go prone to be the most accurate you can't sprint and be accurate with shooting. Perks no. Getting good at the game your self. Yes....

Man went to stary sobor last night with my 4 man team, 2 snipers covering me and my friend whilst we moved in.. started taking fire from the big metal barn thing next to the army camp, killed 4 people with sick weapons, lost a man but he tried to be a hero and ran across an open field.. got some sick guns now : D

Thing is though, it sounds perverted but if you just replace the heads then your are going to have women with really manly bodies... and male voices : S I mean it would be nice to have more models and maybe even the ability to customize what you look like by finding clothes and armour and shit.. but this is the arma 2 engine!

I reckon pay for it once... but don't make it like £50 the main reason you have so many players is because its a free mod... but then again I have seen people complain about basically buying this anyway... But I would do it studio maybe with the official BIS team!?!?!

I get stuttering to but its more like every 5 mins or so, it varies though get it every now and then, its a bit annoying. But controls still respond I noticed, when I freeze and keep walking forward i will have moved forward.. so if it happens when zombies on your ass DON'T STOP! Take your time with the next patch rocket *not sarcasm* everyone loves your mod : D

People please research, the zig zagging is the arma 2 engine not dilberate, for some reason AI runs like this, if you play the campaign you will notice that they run in random zig zags and stuff. one mission you rescue a doctor and he fucking runs all over the place when he could get to this hut quicker... I hope it is fixable but its hard coded so probably not... Personally I would like to keep runners but make them slower, I like the way the walk inside. if they ran inside you would be so fucked and buildings would have no real use anymore!

I swear getting into the game is harder then playing the game its self xD hopefully in time this will be fixed! I don't think I have ever seen a mod go so HUGE before so quickly. Just wait until everything is fixed : D try lower population servers they usually load faster.

On single player I get like 50 fps but on MP I get like 10 sometimes and like 30 max... I didn't play before latest patch so I don't know if it would of been better before. But I think its related to the increase in zombie numbers, in towns where there is ALOT more it puts alot more strain on your CPU and GPU so its probably that. Hopefully it can be patched and optimised a bit!

Waaaazzzzzzzzzzzupppppppppppp TechnoBanana here 18 from the UK. Love this mod and all the survival aspects that come with it. I love it because its not just running and gunning its sneaking and only using guns as a last resort!

Yeah I have been having the same problem.... talk to people on direct communication and they don't reply and side chat doesn't work either, its fucking annoying!

You have to walk around for AGES to try and find each other. I spent 2hrs looking for my friend last night... its brutal.. I suggest following the coast and eventually you will meet
