Any ideas please, Reinstalled through steam again but the integrity thing in steam fails on 1 file still , it's says it will be reaquired but I log In and out of steam again and it's the same error , Says game not available when I click on reinstall battle eye in steam In dayz commander "versions "it says arma 2 not found but the path is correct and arma 2 runs fine.

Hi all, reinstalled arma 2 and arma 2 oa. ran both used dazy commander to update when i look at versions it says "aram 2 not found" but latest version installed directory in dayz commander is C:\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 which is correct dayz version is latest and correct all server give me bad version server rejected. tried steam intergraty thing , it fails and says 1 file will be reaquired but nothing seems to happen any help?

Hi all just done a new os install on a samsung 830 ssd and put a gtx670 in. my last card was a gtx580 and i was quite happy with that, but with the new card and ssd things seem not as good, i dont have any frame rate recording stuff, but in general , i spend a lot of time in elecktro and its clunky with the new rig, same settings. anyone else noticced this? any ideas? ta

Hey guys i have a reasonable pc so like to run dayz in all it beauty, my team mate doesnt have a good sytem so runs everything on low, if im in a covering sniper position while he;s looting i tuck myself up behind cover and to me im very nicely hidden, to him though coz he doesnt have all the detail he says i stick out like a sore thumb, so does that mean that the cover is actually a client side thing so of no use if someone has a lower spec pc and cant run all the goodies, so its pointless me running them and as much as i love the game for the atomspheric enviroment, i am actually disadvantaging myself by having it look nice? also we were just on our own new server and i got a clear shot on a sniper in elektro, he had guille suit on but was on a roof, i downed him in 1 shot but he dissapeared so im guessing he disconnected? and no more than 60 seconds later what sounded like an artillary strike rang out and lasted about 10 seconds, i take it this was a hacker ? thanks Adam

Hi all , bought a 42 player server from http://www.gamingdeluxe.co.uk 2 days ago, everything is supposed to be up and running, filled in the specs of the machine on the portal thing , got generated email saying the id thing not approved due to system specs not good enough, but what now? we have this server from a gaming website and there are other gaming delux servers running on dayz. bit new to this server stuff so go easy on me, paid for a server, just want to play!

Hi all, mates just got dayz and ive been alive for quite a while, i had some random thing where when i rejoined a server i was in a baronless place i ran for about half hour and found some trees etc then got attacked by a zombie soilder, moved on and found some cow barns and increasing farm style places, i dont know where i am, but theres like a tower thing with a gold ball on top , anyone help on my location so i can head towards my friend , also power lines running through, are they on the map so i could use them as direction, first time ever i have gun,ammo,water, a little food and a knife, but im feeling a little lonely and down to 9k blood! would like to pass some kit over before i die, its finally making sense now, so those new guys struggling , keep keep at it, first time i found some proper stuff was amazing, still only got basics but feels a whole lot better!
