Have you ran steam as a administrator, then validate your files? It is the only way it works!

I had fps issues with a WD drive. So I ran dayz in a ramdisk with huge improvements. Search google/youtube for a guide. Now I use a SSD =)

No Entry = Shortcut problem. Change the first part to the location of your (steam) install to run Dayz - should look something like this. "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -nosplash "-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;@DayZ;" Create new short cut! Put the above in the Target: (change the location of your arrowhead install to match yours) Start In: "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead" (same as above) To run different mods in arma just take the @DayZ out and change it to what ever mod you are running plus supporting mods. Eg = My shortcut to run a different mod, with the following mods! + my profile + No intro + empty world for faster loading. "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" "-mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;@cba;@cba_a2;@cba_oa;@jsrs;@sthud;@Blastcore_Visuals;expansion\beta\expansion" "-name=Fully" -nosplash -world=empty

should still be in your rubbish bin unless you completely removed it due to file size :P

3. You need to go back to the lobby. Basicly you are rejoining the action =)

Are you running steam in admin when you verify your files? Have you installed all the patches A2 v1.11? Have you installed the beta patch v1.62? once you are here, install the battle eye client.dll from there site then run the game, without dayz installed. You could even host a multiplayer game just ,make sure battle eye is working. Now install Dayz mod. Create a shortcut like this = Change the first part (C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead) to match your location! "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" -nosplash "-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;@DayZ;" Double click and I'll see you in my sights :P

Specs look ok. I wouild be looking at the hard drive. You could try ramdisk - see if that helps.

What is the kick reason?

There are 2 options to combine both! In the OA folder there is a batch file called _runA2CO and _runA2CObeta. What this does it links A2 with OA in the registry, it also adds 2 shortcuts in the OA folder to the addons folder and the Dtr folder in A2. Copy Addons and the Dtr folder from Arma 2 to the Operations Arrowhead directory.

You need to right click the shortcut, down the bottom click on the properties button. Target should be the top line! click apply button down the bottom then ok. then double click it and it will open and load the Dayz mod!

You could go to the Expansion beta Arma2oa.exe, use that to create a shortcut, then in your shortcut, right click to properties and change the target to "C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" "-mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;@Dayz" -nosplash Just change the start location to match yours =) Once started in MP just change your filter(s) to Dayz or what you want to find =)

Get BI tools, its all in there =)

It is because it is an exe. Your avg setting must be set quite high! Just tell avg that its a trusted exe same with the BEClient.dll =)

Shortcut issue, Its like your common folder is not being picked up! This is how I fixed Quote: deleted.chernarus, caweapons_ammoboxes, CAWater, cawater2_fishing_boat error message. There were a few other error messages like "No entry 'bin\config.bin/CFGVehicles/Land_Fire_barrel.scope" Install Arma 2, patch to 1.05, then patch to 1.11. Run the game -might have to install battle-eye. Install Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead. Install patch 1.62 + lastest beta patch! In the OA folder there is a batch file called _runA2CO and _runA2CObeta. So I deleted the 2 shortcuts. Copied Addons and the Dtr folder from Arma 2 to the Operations Arrowhead directory. =) this fixed my error of deleted stuff. I not sure why it dident work, maybe a windows 8 thing?

Close steam =) Run as Administrator! If you have CO, run arma 2, exit, then run OA. Close steam then iopen normally.

Shut down/restart, then go kill every process that you dont need to run!
