I had the same issue, and found it was a hard drive issue, not reading/writing fast enough. I installed a ramdisk and that fixed it. Now I am running a SSD.

Yep it is the way it is. You have to take your pick between small loss of fps and big recorded file sizes from fraps or bigger fps loss and smaller files with dxtory. I use dxtory.

You could try making a 400mb ram disk, see if that helps?

@DayzOrigins is its own mod, you need to download it, it is about 1.25gig in size =)

reinstall the battleye client files, from there web site. they go in .....\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEye directory.

Your running Arma2 to play Dayz! It should be Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead =)

Yes - Make sure you run them both after install, Make sure they are updated to latest patch. Add the beta patch. And add the "-mod=......" to your shortcut target line.
