You should have no passwored files on your system unless you put them there! I would of formatted the harddrive to be safe =)

Your best bet is to let someone remote desktop into your computer =) Dont download anything that is not dayzcommander, or from arma2, armaholic, dayzmod and Bohemia Interactive sites. Have you download the arma2beta patch?http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php Did you start arma2oa.exe and at least get the menu before playing dayz? Overwatch is a required mod that needs to be downloaded around 1.8gig.

Yes Best way to patch Arma 2 is get 1.05, then 1.11 patches Arma2OA needs to be patched 1.62 if its not. Then you need the armaoa beta patch =) Get these from arma website or armaholic. Dayz mod can be found here. Link at the top left =)

Dont forget you need the Dtr directory as well =) If you look inside your A2OA directory there is a file called _runA2CO_beta.cmd This will run combined operations. You can edit this file, down the bottom were it reads :run change this "-mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion" to "-mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;@DayZ" If the file is not there you need the beta patch!

Off Topic: I own Arma 2 retail disk version 1, you have to upgrade to v 1.05, then v 1.11 OA steam version 1.59, you have to upgrade to v 1.62 NO DLC's You have to install the beta patch 103718 Install DayZ 1.7.7 This is what I need to do to play =)

Sorry mate, I have no idea how them PMC models work with dayz. But I have being told that is were the high res textures come from. Same with the vehicles, interiors have low res textures. Add the @Newmap with the Newmap.pbo in the addons directory edit your startup command to have the new mod (map) included. I would also add a new directory for the server files server.cfg, basic.cfg and users profiles. edit your server.cfg \\MISSIONS CYCLE template="whatever.Newmap";

Why are you running the pmc mod to join a Dayz server? Addons should be in your operation arrowhead folder Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Addons Once you done this and get kicked for not being signed just remove them (....pbo) from the above addons directory =) There is only 2 that you need, characters and vehicles I believe?

Sounds like the mission.sqm is corrupt. remove all your addons you have added and do sections at a time until you find the mistake(s) =) classes and class items values. But it is "your" mod you should be able to debug the code and have a good understanding of it.

You could turn them around when you play DayZ =) Can you setup up game profiles, in the software for them? if so that might be the way to go!

Yeah that is a a problem I had. But version 1.05 - 1.11 works. Can you down grade to 1.05?
