I think the question is were have they gone? Playing on full servers is only way to play. I seen a lot of good servers just die, and when they do they die fast! At the moment I play Epoch, just because the server is 60/60 most of the time. It hard to find a server in Aus/Nz that you have to spam to get in =) I do hope SA is good, wont know until it come out. But I do like the fact that they are 150 players =)

When you carnt kill another player - or are punished by it through death or kick it will always be a pvp fest =)

You will need to install both PMC and BAF to get full high res textures. ^ no if you uninstall you will not beable to play dayz. Dayzcommander is good to install different version(s) (MODS) of Dayz, Good for finding servers to play on, and good for finding your mates. I think the OP is a little misleading. YOU CAN USE STEAM TO PLAY DAYZ AND ANY OTHER MOD THAT YOU WANT. Just have to set the launch options up correctly. Look into the main Arma 2 OA directory and run _runA2CO.cmd It will make the linking to a couple of directorys that is required to work =) Start / run Arma2 OA to at least the menu. Get the beta patch from http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php get version 103718 Goto Dayzcommander setting and make sure the install directory's are correct =) You should be ready to play if you have install the @Dayz mod.

Not sure how you add it to the database. But to add the map you have to edit server.cfg under mission cycle change it to the map you want.

2 files why there is only 1 that you need. BEClient.dll for your correct o/s system and this goes into the ...\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\Expansion\BattlEye directory Make sure your firewall is not blocking it.

A .pbo is a bunch of files or Packed Bohemia Object =) This what my server main file directory looks like - This is were you edit the config of the server. This is were you edit the game files. I can pack this up into a pbo and stick this in the MPMission directory as a .pbo or as a folder with the following structure.This is were you edit your game stuff.
