    Did you have a gun on you at the time? I noticed that certain weapons will make you "noisier"...for whatever reason. With the AK crouch running, you're just as "noisy" as when you're full on sprinting. I think the biggest issue with the zombies is not their speed, what they carry, or how they move...it's their overall programming. I die more from freak zombie attacks than anything else in the game. Attacking you through walls/objects, hitting you when you can't hit them, freakish attack range, etc...

    .45's are pretty easy to find. I usually find them in the castle or supermarkets. You'll find .45 mags everywhere, so pick them up even if you don't have a weapon yet, because odds are, you'll find one soon enough.

    I ran into (almost literally) a guy today in Balota. He had an alice pack & I think an M4. I just had a hatchet. I told him I was looking for my friend I was playing with, and he said he saw someone down the road. I told him what I saw in the airfield loot-wise and we went our separate ways. There ARE normal people out there...but it's luck of the draw.

    It'd be awesome if they would just let an update run for more than 12hrs. It gets annoying when you spend more time trying to find a working server than playing the game.

    In one supermarket I found: 3 watches 2 binos a map 2 compass a tent a revolver various ammo ~10 cans of soda 3 cans of food Yeah, the grocery store is the place to go.

    I just ran Sixlauncher and it said my version of Arma2 was out of date. Apparently there's a new patch that came out. Maybe that will resolve the issue? Downloading att...

    Most of the people on here who act like idiots are older than 18, so don't blame just the kiddies.

    "Waiting for character to create" "Wating for host"...... Some way to force updates to all servers would be nice. Every business or entity that has a network has the ability to do this. It's built into every server OS.

    Best way is to get on Teamspeak or some other chat program. When you spawn in, look at the general location it says you're in. Also, use an online map (it's linked all over the forums). Once you both have a general idea of where you're at, decide on a meeting place and then talk each other on to the location.
