last night, i was happily on a uk server its all dark, running towards the nw airfield. gf on my bed with her laptop thought she was watching a movie of something. ive recently upgraded my surround sound so i can hear the faintest fart from a bird in day z. hear some wierd noise behind me scares the shit out of me, i spin my toon round thermal scope on scanning, and i hear it again behind me, spin round nothing there. turns out my gf was looking at shoes and was doing ooooughhh sounds at them.....

i shouldnt of given my girlfriend the keys to my boat....

2 days ago on my 2nd life, i decided to spawn as a female character. Thinking i was going to die within 1 hour i was looting like a boss, 2 weeks later still alive i find a tent site and raid it. i get all the gear i need, gps night version and that thermal gun. Very happy bunny with the thermal gun, and i found 2 gillie suits... i can’t wear them but meh i found out the hard way. shortly after a friend pm'd me his clan server to meet up with him. so i find the safest bush to log off and join his server (i just had the thermal gun for 10 mins lol) i join his server then i get message that im dead (which i expect due to it being alpha) i was a bit dismayed but shit happens. However my toon has spawned in the middle of nowhere i mean, no trees no grass, so im off map. i log off and go back to the previous server to go to the tent site i stashed some gear a while ago. i login and im my female toon again but ive spawned south of cherno. which i thought was lucky but knowing its alpha won’t last, so i decided to go on a murder spree for a bit and then head up north to log off. last night i logged back in and as i suspected i was dead and i created a new toon male this time. i head up north from cherno looting stuff and using the clouds as navigation (no map etc) i get some ok gear and get to the lake up to the north and get lost loads of times (4 hour hike) i log off to go eat some curry (which should be in game, and your toon should get the runs lol) i log back in again but im my female toon again with my thermal rifle etc.. thinking its bug i log off and try a different server.. same result. am i lucky or am i going to be going back to my male toon. not bothered either way i did do a massive hike with the male toon so i got attached to it. just wondering if you guys have had similar experiences with this and what outcomes you got?

2nd note it doesnt explain why my female toon spawned at cherno from all the way up north i mean i lof odd at the lake so i decide which airfield to hit lol. must be alpha bug.

lol i just look at the low ping and players, possible my male toon was on a private server, and i dont take note of ther server names lol. if thats the case ow well was fun when it lasted lol.

i want sharks with laser beams in the sea. brings a new meaning if you run out of fuel on a boat. :D

hmm interesting, will give it more of a try tonight. is there anyway you can tell if its private or public?

when the server restarts.. the zombies have a coffee break. 2 pilots in helicopters decide to race each other but collide in mid-air (for some reason it happens every time) they crash near each other. Tesco get deliveries for their express stores to stock them up, but due to government initiatives they have to hire retards and the stock gets placed on the floor. The tent monster comes and steals all the tents off map and due to most of them having a handy vehicle nearby it makes off with them too. Time team come along to excavate ruins which sometimes leave large trenches under player log off sites, so when they login they either die or break a leg to the resuling 2inch fall.

sorry but, rocket hes only one guy with a small team, this aint ea. i expect to loose my shit when i login, or when im happily walking around i drop dead to a sniper, being hacked etc. you know why? its a free mod its alpha keep them in mind, if you give decent feedback of the bugs you have encountered it may help for them to be fixed. rage quit posts wont get you fuck all

personally im not mithered, but i think the poll should answer what people want and action taken. should make it more instresting for people. if the server stats and gear got reset. :)

people have loot, i want loot, plus i see every player a threat so i take them out, threat gone i get beans. pvp makes the game fun, makes raiding airfields and towns scarey and also makes you want to play at night time with less populated servers but risk of being killed by ninja zombies.

i ran through the first town i come across. zombies spawned. (not know how to get rid of them i just ran) 20 mins later i was getting munched on. started reading the wiki afterwards. now im on my 2nd life still alive raiding airfields. love this game

found my first car... drove around and hid it... not in a good place, logged in long walk... i left my beans in the car :(

how about change how much loot drops, if a 50 kal kills you half you gear gets killed with it. less powerful guns more gear survives. frag grenade you get 4 raw meat from it... but meh might be too much work, and tbh i like the thrill of sneaking everywhere.

the guns shouldnt be rare, the ammo for them should be. you could have 20 .50cal guns, but 1 bullet. should be more melee tbh.

HI guys. been watching alot of clips of this game on youtube, and i decided to buy arma 2 the expansion pack just for Day z however ive not started playing it yet (gigs of downloads and work..) i did try Arma 2 which is ok, not my style of gaming, but dayz is. would it be better to learn the control system in arma 2 or take the plunge right into Dayz? i know alot of players on here only bought Arma 2 for this mod and im just wondering what your experiances are of learning Dayz controls right off the bat or did you play arma 2 for a while before taking the plunge? i know to expect alot of death and alot of desk breaking (former eve online player..inb4 rage) so i can handle being gimped after getting epic lootz. cheers :)
