    Graphical Issues

Rocket n' friends are already aware of these LOD issues with barbed wire and soldier corpse props. Hopefully they push the update through somewhat soon. While I can understand that making sure that the fixes don't cause any regressions or new bugs is a priority for them now (after having hotfixes for hotfixes more than once), I might actually prefer whatever strange and interesting bugs come with it, as opposed to not being able to go remotely near most of the major/minor military installations on the map.

    Hotfix Build 1.7.2.4 Rolling Update

I haven't confirmed it yet, but I hear that the newest beta patch fixes that. You can grab it here to check: ftp://downloads.bistudio.com/arma2.com/update/beta/ARMA2_OA_Build_95417.zip . To clarify, im referring to the artifacts.

    DayZ 1.7.2.4 Horrible texture bug!

    Correct sir.
  4. Heh, this is rich. I've killed both HF and GANG members who had the exact same items on them. Take that for what its worth. Also, none of us use the object removal exploit. You can mention Dmytro all you want, but this is a guy who downloaded "RUSSIAN HACKER PROGRAM" so he could try and change his grades and ended up owning himself, and spent weeks of game time in WoW trying to run up walls and glitch areas. Even so, he didn't do any of this on NY7 either, so i'm not sure where any of this is coming from.
  5. A few things: 1. Seriously Garful, what kind of grade school nonsense is this? Grow up. 2. This exploit has existed for a good long while now, but nothing has been done to address it. Arma2 (battleye) even checks to see if those pbos were modified, but doesn't check at all for deletion? That's a pretty huge oversight and shouldn't be hard to fix at all. 3. Once we discovered how this was being done, we wanted to see the extent of how much could be removed. For me (and a few others), we lost complete interest in the game after seeing how ridiculously easy it was to perform, as well as how terribly it breaks the game for everyone. 4. As mentioned previously, no players outside of the test group used this to kill anyone or steal anything. 5. We actively put pressure on the dev team(s) by vocalizing the exploit publically. Hopefully, the issue (finally) gets taken seriously. A final thought: Instead of running here and trying to defame the guy who spent his hard earned money and time hosting the server you play on, you could have just as easily contacted any of us to try and get more information. I don't think anyone should have a shred of respect for you at this point. I sure as hell don't.
