I like using skype better than ts or other voip. Do what wh1spy said, and if it lowers it in game, just alt-tab out right click the speaker in the tray next to clock. go to sound mixer, there you can turn dayz back up and adjust volume accordingly

Also even if you bandage with actual bandages, the bandages are clean, but the wounds may not be, you can find alcohol to pour on them to clean them up...although I'm not sure if you have to clean them before bandaging or not

I wasn't there so I don't know how it played out....but I can say one thing, never assume what another player can see or hear, or how many friends he has hiding with him.

Yup, a few days ago, half the people on the server I was on was having their character controlled all at the same time, it was pretty annoying. especially when your trying to hide from a sniper....but its relieving when you look on the treeline and see that the same thing is happening to him haha

best bet would be to take the hacked stuff out of tents and save them, sometimes they still save....blow up the ural...and have some fun with the chopper before you either keep it or blow it up :) Or hide the ural for yourself if you want, but still have some fun with the chopper

so a buddy has the hero skin...he said something about regenerating blood after an hour of not doing anything. anyone notice anything like that?

My lazy brother has been living off soda for years now, seriously, we're thinking of planning an intervention. The average dayz character lives an hour apparently, i usually live for a week at on average. I think it would be entirely possible to live off soda for that amount of time, even without the 3 water bottles I usually have on me, In fact..you wouldn't even need food, if you wanted it super realistic, why don't we just make it where you only really need water once every few days and food every couple of weeks, to survive on the lowest means possible.

Hackers suck :( The server I was last playing on, someone spawned aircraft carriers around cherno and elecktro, Huge ships almost the size of cherno itself. I do find myself sniping people in cherno or elektro from time to time. When I finally get a sniper, I hardly ever get to use it, so when I finally get the chance, I'm horrible with it. So I decided to practice, so I needed to go to a place with the most targets :P

Don't forget about school starting in these last few weeks......

Same thing here, very disappointed with steam. I bought it on my only two days off, won't be able to play even if I get it now for a couple weeks at least :'(

So if I snipe someone with an m107 from 600 m away I will get blood on my flag?

Was anyone in Elektro right before this server reset??? It was crazy! 3 snipers at least..m203 grenade launchers...and what sounded like a rocket launcher (hacked?) it all started about 15 mins before server restart

Man I've had 1 run in with a hacker and i've been playing for a bit...and i play alot. and when that hacker killed me I still had all my stuff

First time I went, me and my buddy got ran over by a jeep, the backed up and over me 3 times and got out to finish me off, I killed em both then the zeds finished me lol

Yeah, its crazy how even the tree lines are accurate, especially around stary sobor and novy sobor

The only way to know for sure is to be put in that situation......can someone manufacture a zombie virus already?

Seems like more trouble than its worth then :( I'll just wait to steal one when its fixed, and hopefully get my beloved blue van back in the meantime!

It seems to me like there are less zombies in cities like cherno and more in small towns and deerstands

I've found matches in the out houses that are next to some houses....Its awesome! The smell goes away in like 1 second! I usually never check those....today I found an Alice pack in one tho....so I think I might start

Found my first one the other day, me and a buddy found a huge camp, got an as50 and all kinds of things...explored a little further and there it was, a beautiful crappy blue van...we kept it for about 3 days. It made everything so easy, we got our own camp going pretty quickly after that, had all kinds of supplies and weapons in case we died. Then we had the worst happen today, we were driving to loot the nw airfield...on the way as I was maneuvering through debris in a town, I apparently hit a truck rim that was laying on the ground and it blew up :( We didn't find much at the airfield and by the time we got back to our amazingly well hidden camp (could not be seen as it was in a pine tree with no edges sticking out) everything was looted except a crappy bison with no ammo, and all the raw meat they had to drop to fit things in their inventory.

Yeah I couldn't even fix the fuel tank

When you stop at ponds to fill your canteen When you don't leave the house without cooked meat and morphine When you stop outside of a town your going to, to check if zombies are already spawned and then proceed to crawl through said town when you can't stop scanning the tree lines for snipers when you FREAK OUT when you see a helicopter when you refuel your car with jerry cans /catches breath

found a heli....Spawned with everything in red except for hull, and no fuel. Got all the parts to fix it except for one scrap metal..finally found it, and fell through the floor and died :( Seems like a bad place for a spawn point on this server though...Found a HUGE campsite right next to it.... And yes it was on this island they speak of...I tried to repair it...now its someone else's turn so that I may steal it from you :D
