Hello Everyone, Essentially I would like to reduce violent encounters with other players. I do enjoy a good shootout and love my FPS games and I think hostile players are essential for the enviroment but not everyone is a prick right? I think if we had an effective way to show we are no aggressive we would have a chance to stop and trade with each other. As about something or maybe, just maybe not fucking shoot each other. So if anyone has tips, tricks or ideas on how to best approach someone else safely and without bloodshed being the first step that would be great. If we could try to maybe set some generic gestures/actons that could be easily expalned and spread around that would be awsome. I hope this topic can try to stay on topic and be productive. Please!

All I want to do is find a website/forum topic that is not full of people talking about every other thing that they feel like talking about. The current Pending Build topic is at 126 pages and all the relevant information could fit on too one page. If there is no isolated area that contains just relevant information or can a locked thread that contains only useful information be made. I am loving DayZ and I must say I am pretty addicted to it. Keep up your hard work and I am sure you already aware a large number of people thank you for this mod. Thank You! No expectations, I await a chance to try the next patch with great anticipation and just want to be informed so I can stop looking through page after page of random topics not related to this threads topic! Ok stop what your doing. Run a file verify from steam and then run Arma 2 and then Arma 2 OA from steam and then run the mod... I had that same issue and after verify fixxed 7 files I had a serial number issue that I had to run each Arma 2 from steam to repair that lol.

The loot will more than likely be under ground. Some loot just pokes out of the ground. NWAF by southern barracks is one of the only ones I recall that the spawns are not flawed.

More people around you means more CPU and GPU time will be used to render them and all that. Skype uses memory and that could effect your performance. Post your rig specs.

There is a port/overhang that is closed in. The loot is often buried under dirt so look around all the edges. The area looks like the thing I made with symbols. There is no other part that looks like it on the building so just find it, take your time and look at the ground waiting for the loot symbol to appear. After a couple times this will go very fast. And now my symbol. _________ | | | | | | Ok so what I type looks noting like what shows up, Basically its the only area where there is a recess. Look at the ground near the edges and walk. Take loot and be merry.

Well stay at 12000 blood and stop getting raped by zombies. I got tackled by a Z at NFAW and the asshole broke my leg, I dropped about 10+ zombies but I had to use my M4 and suddenly there are about 20 more on me. I died and then i respawned and I didn't QQ. The End!

Hello Lazer, I just got kicked and I get auto kicked everytime I login. PM me if there are any issues please. Not just your server. Gettin auto kicked from all servers. This is weird! second edit: Steam says 7 files were corupt and no it is giving me a serial number error. May just be on my end. Never had the serial number error before :(. Final Edit. Had to check files via steama nd then run arma 2 free and arma 2 OA and that fixxed the serial number issue and now I am back up and going. Hopefully my HDD is ok. But for now I game.

Just got a batteleye script error #55 during game play. Only on US 10 so far.

I recently had several encounters with other survivors and one event turned out very well. I met two people in the army tents at Stary. Things went very slow and calm, no issues with them and we end up going to the NWA and loot the whole base. We find a crashed helicopter and go abck too some of my tents to spread the loot out. So that was cool. Next group we met merced one of us and we got one of them. Got nasty very quick with them firing from cover and us running and gunning. They waited over 30 mins for us to come back and hit us again. Very fun! But alas I died from a guy laying under a tree in complete blackness. Only big loss was a GPS :(.
