Hello, I have had a server with Host Altitude since July. I noticed that whenever I needed the assistance of "tech support" they would often take an added amount of time to provide "support". All was running at a somewhat even tempo until October 2nd @ 6:00 PM EST. My server went down and the status in the TCAdmin Control Panel is unknown. It has been this way since then even after submitting multiple tickets and emails. No answer to telephone calls. It is now October 10th 6:20 PM EST and still no replies to the tickets created. This leads me to believe that "Jonnerz" has abandoned his company and there will be no more server hosting from HA. I had recieved an email from them in Late September that their customer support would no longer suck because they were merging with another company. Apparently that is BS. The only email I have received from them is the auto-generated; "Hey your bill is ready for the next month". So those of you who have "HA", I would not pay that bill, because if your server is not already down, it probably will go down soon. Good Luck because these people / Jonnerz are not going to contact you, they will just treat you like they have treated me. Ignore all your attempts to ask for support should you need it. Then send you a bill in the mail and ask for more money.

Yeah, got your pm. I saw the same thing on twitter. I wonder how their minecraft hosting has been affected. Either my money back or a month or two of free service should do it. I am currently looking at other providers.

Yay they are still ignoring me since OCT 2nd. They still have not fixed my server or answered my ticket...and they sent me an email for next months billing cycle....YEAH RIGHT. They need to give me two months free after this shit. Gimme two months to see their "improved service" and I would entertain the notion of staying with them

Yeah, consider it lost if you server goes down. They still have not responded to any of the 20 tickets i have opened since OCT 2nd. My bill is due for next month, tomorrow. If they think I am paying that, then they are crazy. There is no other reason I can think of for a company to completely ignore their customers other than they are shutting down. I think that is what is happening here

You don't even have the slightest idea who I am, what my server was like and what goes on with dayz server hosting. Other than irritation, I see know reason for you to comment on this post. If you think that HA shut my server down, then that is your prerogative. I on the other hand know exactly what happened. What I don't know is why they are not responding to any tickets. That is the question here. I am not asking why my server is down. I want to know why they are not answering any tickets. They are not just ignoring my tickets. They are ignoring other people's tickets as well. FOR THE LAST FUCKING TIME : I never broke any of the DAYZ Hosting Rules. There was no reason for HA to shut my server down. If you do not believe me then prove me wrong with some video or screenshot. Also, when a server gets blacklisted and is running, it almost always gives the message: "This server is running and incorrect version of the server-side application. Please contact Dayz Support." This is the message received by any server that has lost communication with the HIVE. But thanks for coming on here and throwing baseless accusations around. You obviously did not read my OP. But hey I guess you know everything. Maybe you have been jilted in the past by some asshole admin and have decided to take it out on every admin you can. IDK. I can definitely tell by your location that you like to irritate people. Good Job, I was already pissed off to begin with. KUDOS

OMG really dude. no, it was not passworded. It was just on. No shady business, just on. The shit went down. They are not responding to any inquires. If i had been blacklisted, I would have received an email from them saying so. I did not do anything on that server except update it and play the game.

I have had a server with them since July. In general terms, I have not had much of an issue with them. The longest I have waited for a ticket to be resolved was 2 days. UNTIL NOW! My server went down OCT 2nd @6:00PM EST. I created a ticket immediately. It is OCT 9th 5:00 PM, I have created multiple tickets and no answers. I have received only 1 email from them about payment for this coming months services. WTF!!!! They sent me an email the week before last telling me that they were going to be managed by a new company and all would be right as rain after 1 week. Well that shit obviously has not happened. My server is still down. What I do expect to happen is for them to get that shit back up, say they are sorry, and give me next month for free. It is tuesday and they need to get that shit up now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My server status has been "UnKnown" since OCT 2nd. Multiple Tickets Created. No response. I am sure they will respond by the 14th when my next month's charge is due with: "Sorry, we got your server up"...This is the 3rd time this has happened with them. It is ridiculous. Just a sorry we suck, No incentive to stay with them. This is a horrible server hosting company. 4 days so far and no response or anything.

And why did the 1.7.2.6 update include the beta, do like you did in the past. put the divider there. put a link for the 1.7.2.6 with 0.7.4 hive update, and a link for the new beta.

yeah, finally get the update. and now me and everyone else in my clan get " The server is running an incorrect server side application blah blah" tried installing it a dozen times,. our clients are working fine on other servers...something is wrong with the 1.7.2.6 update you have posted .

I rented a server in hopes of having a place to play for my friends and I. My intentions were good enough. I thought. Hey I will get my own server so my friends and I could play without hacking hackers, hopping hoppers,cheating cheaters, and lagging laggers. When I read the rules for server hosting, I was quite taken aback to them.The amount of pure bullshit that I have had to put up with from players takes the cake over the hackers and hoppers. Players/hackers/whiners just want to play. There is nothing wrong with that. And I agree they should be able to do so on PUBLIC SERVERS. Well, there are no PUBLIC SERVERS in DayZ. Just incase you did not know this game runs on PRIVATE SERVERS. Rules have been established to make sure that everyone can play on these PRIVATE SERVERS. However, EVERYONE includes hackers, hoppers, and whiners. It gets even worse when some asshole you have never met in your life, threatens you with tales of blacklisting because you shutdown your server, or he/she got kicked by battleye cause their ping was ridiculous. The only thing I have ever done on my server is shut it down, set BE to auto-kick anyone with pings over 100ms, or ban hackers or anyone who has attempted to access the server controls continually. I left an email address in my MOTD so people could get in touch with me about anything. The only emails I receive are threats for blacklisting cause the server went down while someone was looting/shooting/building/pooping...whatever! It is insane! IF, I could have it my way. I would find 40 people who would like to play the game fairly. Password my server and give these 40 people a password to play on my server. Anyone who could not play fair will get the boot to make room for someone who will. Those who do are welcome to stay. Then I could know who is full of shit and who isn't. BUT NO! That is not possible because of the rules. I understand why these rules were made. But, they only serve to help hackers, whiners, hoppers and cheaters. I am sick of the bullshit. Any game I loved to play on PC, I rented a server for. I did not have these rules to hold me or anyone else on my server back from playing the game the way it was meant to be played. So I have decided not to keep my server up this next month. Because I am tired of all of it. Day in and Day out this is life on DAYZ: Player: oooohhh I am telling. Player: ooooooohh I am telling. Admin: for what? Admin: for what? Player: you shutdown your server! Player: I was kicked for no reason(or just as i got shot/found so and so gun/vehicle) Admin: go for it! Admin: BE says your ping was 320ms thats why you got kicked. Player: WAHHHHH! Your supposed to be MY bitch!!!!! Do we really need these rules anymore? There are hundreds of servers if not thousands. I would assume once this game is out of its "ALPHA" state that PRIVATE servers can actually be PRIVATE anyway. So why carry on with this communistic crap. Until this changes and I can actually keep a character for more than 3 days without getting nuked!!! I am done with this shit! I would never rely on some crappy program to keep my server clean. I am 34 years old. I have a full-time job as an instructor for the US Army. I am way to old for this petty crap!

Yeah, if I were you. I would run a private hive with that setup. Create a Hack-Free Community...Hell I have a server and I would join your community.

Yeah i got one of those too. Bought it a few years ago. same thing happened to me with it. I liked it alot. My only complaint with it was the thumb pad was a little harder to use accurately, and my thumb would slip off from time to time, but it has more programmable features/buttons than the n52. But IMHO, I like the N52 better. its way more comfortable. Comfortability is key to pc-gaming for me. Console gaming is comfortable, PC tends to wear your back, neck, and shoulders out after a while.

yeah they have horrible ticket support. seems like it only works when you have just rented a server from them...after you have had it for a while, they just ignore you hoping the problem fixes itself.

Same shit here. I upgraded to 1.7.2.5 and voila my tents and vehicles were there, however only the items that were put in when the server was running 1.7.2.4. However any vehicle repairs and positions will save after a restart. In fact, the vehicle's positions will save place without having to select "save vehicle" from the scroll menu. But the vehicle's contents, just like the tents will only revert back to what there were before. And just like you, any new tents or vehicles will not save at all. So I decided to downgrade back to 1.7.2.4 and still no dice. This shit is completely broken. Found a silenced M4a3 CCO and lost it to a non-saving ATV. This is really breaking the game for me cause I set up tents all around the map with stuff so If I die, I can come back and re-gear or get sustenance on my way back to my main camp. Which means I cannot add new items into my tens. Kind of makes the game pointless if you cannot put your stuff anywhere. And I do not like the fact that this allows duping to occur. I mean I know it was always an issue with tents but, I think this needs to be a top priority. If you cant save anything, then its not an RPG, its an Arcade!

Hey I will trade this for that. How can I trust you will trade this for that? How do I know you will not have some AS50 Xhairs on my head @500m away while we are doing this supposed deal? How do you know I do not have the same thing? How can we be sure my sniper wont spawn on top of your sniper? Do people really trade like this? I am not the type of player that just goes around killing everyone, but I have learned not to trust everyone. I'm sure someone has a nice story of getting wasted by some asshole with a "trade" agenda. If so please share, I am all ears. Cause I would love a ghillie suit and I have a pair of NVG's I would trade for it.
