every second was empty, or there were just a few revolver rounds or cz magazines, heatpacks were there occasionally as well. could be changed in the next update, a few tools or some pistols would be nice.

i tested the new version for a few days now and i must say overall im happy with the changes (no error i would stop playing, or i can write about now). just one thing, im a bit dissapointed with deerstand loot. I know almost all locations of the deerstands and i plan my routes to visit them, so ive seen a few deerstand, enough to write my opinion i hope. maybe i just had bad luck. what i got as loot so far, either they were empty (every second was empty) or there were a few eat/drinks, heatpack, some other ammunition (stanag, makararov, revolver, cz), but revolver and cz mostly and thats it. Cant you change it a bit and let a few tools spawn there as well, like compass/toolkit, bagpack, etc. you dont need to spawn there weaons loke m4 cco or DMR that would be too much. i would be totally fine if theyre spawn maybe a few pistols or some shotguns.

just search, i mean if they really have all vehicles its such a fucking big camp you cant really miss it.

didnt see so i just ask, loot spawning correctly when in vehicles now as well? or do i still need to leave 100 m before entering a building otherwise its just empty and no loot.

i was in berezhino in the morning, i double checked for zombies, and entered the second supermarket with the 3 appartments, as i was in the supermarket looting happily i suddendly see a person entering blasting him with my fn fal, he half got me tough, as i was really sure im alone in berezhino. After that i thought quick check to the tents and hospital and then leave to find an animal and heal up. As i went to the tent i see a crashsite i decided to loot after the hospital. As i crawl to the crash side, i see 2 people running there straight, killed them both, started looting the crashsite and get shot ( guess i was too hasty and they had a third or fourth man as backup) should drink a cup of coffee before playing.

i try not to shoot if i am sure the other player didnt see me first. sometimes im startled when somebody just pops up infront of my most of the time i dont shoot and just try to leave not acting too aggressive, until now it worked unless 2-3 times i died, but thats fine as well. if i see a player in distance and im sure he has seen me and has some kinda long weapon (sniper etc.) and keeps going my direction i will try to kill him, even if i die. and if i see a player looting a players corpse even if he doesnt have bandit skin i will just kill him asuming he killed the poor guy and isnt friendly .

from the realistic view of point i like the changes how many pieces of meat can you eat until your full. Matches get wet and its raining all the time when im playing anyway. What i really dislike is that they then make so many unrealistic choices for the few realistic they make. Showing Heli Crash Sites on a Map for every player to be seen? Really maybe only for those who have GPS and get the Help Signal from the Heli, but not everyone who has a map (btw every supermarket has like 4 watches and 2maps so ).

im playing on a first person hive it makes so much more intense and harder but in the end even more satisfying. you need to look around more, be more aware of your sorroundings ( at least i am), i slow down sometimes and sneak here and there i wouldnt dare on a third person server where everyone can see me etc. even just overlooking something youre lying in the grass and see nothing in first person, so you need to half stand up and be more visible, same when youre camping something, need to actually stand up and watch around corners which gives the other person time to counter not in third person where someone stands under air controll stairs youll never see him and he just shoots you in the face when you walk past. i would love if there were more/fuller servers with first person. nowadays its hard to find a good dayz server with, not talking about the other maps etc.

@dirty i never had any problems going back to my body, theres always enough time, expect youre lazy and take hours or maybe server restarts like 15 minutes after (then youre just unlucky), but in half an hour you can run to berezhino or the airfield. tents worked for me so far, ok you need to hide them good, and test if its saving properly i think most cases stuff in tents were lost is because they were fucked up to begin with, build in stones/trees and would never have been able to save stuff anyway. since the uptade 1.7.3 or was it 1.7.4 tents were saving fine with no problems for me.

im playing/using my mouse with my left since i can remember me using a pc. what i mostly do is using the arrow keys and set everything i use to enter, str, delete, page up-down, and numpad, never had a problem with any game, always enough keys to use.

AussieStig is the friendliest survivor one happy bandit can hope to encounter. He even bloodbags him before getting killed and still thanks him in chat for being able to help him just before being shot

id like that. I mean you can always build yourself a tent to hide your true valuable item. You just need to consider which items you care to take with you and perhaps loose if you die/get killed. Thats why were playing dayz with permanent death at least i am.

if someone just starts shooting at me thats fine with me, at least theyre honest, and i can counterattack, what i hate are the true retards that try to disconnect etc. if you shoot back and manage to hit them ( you see that all the time, when the body instantly despawns before you can even try to loot it)

problem is thats a private hive so the best thing you can do is go to yourdayz.de and ask them to remove or explain why they banned you, either way we cant do anything here on dayz forum

i couldnt really read that out from the questions&answers, but then im almost asleep here, i just ask. i read somewhere that some graphical setting as gamma /brightness etc, will be server side and cant be changed. Is that still planned to be in the SA?

why help bandits? its easy enough for them to find places to assault players, no need to give them a sure-to-kill-spot
