So my new tip to you fellas is the "Q and E" buttons. These let you lean left to right above the waist exposing a smaller portion of your body to be shot at. I wanted to share this because in a fire fight I don't see enough people using it. Also if you are prone and use "Q and E" you will roll in that direction. I don't see the point of rolling (moving target, moving faster sideways when prone) but it's just a feature people overlook. A video of my first road trip and car ever found by me and a group of friends! We were heading to Stary when something unexpected and horrible happened...server crash! Rofl! Well it was US 333 and we parked it just south of a town south of Stary. The towns name started with an R I think.

So true, if their is no respawn button people will just run to the nearest town and get eaten alive! We gamers are creative that way B) !

At the end I die here in a way you will all probably react differently too. I want to set a new trend of letting people walk away with there lives instead of shooting people on site. As you can see when I die I'm no "real" threat. I'm on the ground with a hatchet and the guy shot me with not a word until the end and he says "sorry guy." The admins of a server can reset the server and change the timezone of the server. Not a bug just admins changing time.

This is for new players wondering how to get around at night in DayZ! 1. First thing starting out you will have a flashlight on your tool belt - you must right click the flashlight; "remove it from tool belt" to equip it. It should show up in your hands and to turn it on press "L". Flashlights (as I've used them) when pointed at a zombies do not attract them. 2. Chemlights provide little light around your character (like in the video) and come in Green, blue, and red. They last for a very long time as compared to flares but like a said provide only 1/10th the light if that. 3. Flares! If you use flares you can light up a large portion of area but be aware it will paint the largest "Hey look at me!" sign over your head for players to see for MILES! They last for a couple minutes. 4. Heat and Night Vision Scopes/Goggles! If you own either of these I hate you...because I want one...right meow...did I mention I hate you? These items are RARE! But can be invaluable in night time engagements with bandits! 5. If you do have chemlights and flares and you're wondering how to equip them press "F" and it should in the top right hand side of your screen show it flipping through your weapon, chemlights, and flares. When you have what you want selected throw it out by clicking the left mouse button *IMPORTANT* make sure you switch back to your weapon by using the "F" key! If you want to pick it up and carry it with you (flares and chemlights) look down at it and "SCROLL" with the mouse wheel till it says on the left side of the screen "pick up flare or chemlight". I'll give you guys a quick video that I hope will help explain any of this further. Please ask any question because I'm here to help survivors survive...and kill bandits...and kill people who shoot first...with a crossbow bolt...to the knee...ok just watch the video. Like please!

I agree, Also I wanted to state that if you have a flare in a building it lights up the building...just saying...could use that as bait.

How about instead of stream snipping...you stream helping? Don't shoot at the guy, go and give him a blood transfusion that way instead of being a little B**** you're being a hero for all the viewers to see! Just and idea :P

I remember when we had the right to talk about what we wanted to talk about without harm to others. But I understand if you want to come in this thread and throw down a insult on what we're talking about instead of just leaving the thread alone and not reading what you think is "trash"

I don't stream, I don't avidly follow streamers, and I try and think of the flip side. I brought up this post for the small thought of (WHAT IF) a player helped a streamer instead of killing him (while watching his stream). I'm sure it's happened before but I've never seen it is all. Also I believe no matter how good you are at anything you got help to get where you are now (which is hopefully really good).

No because I don't play the game to stalk a player who streams. BUT I'm sure some people do that.

Glad we got this covered for the...fourth time? I'm losing track. I haven't seen a stream helper (opposite of stream sniper).

I like were you took that lol! But it would only fit if people didn't know for a time who owned that hand, where the hand was, and yeah is people found it would exploit it 100% in that scenario! :)

You obviously only read the first post and not the rest of the thread otherwise you would see that we see the same things.

Oh yeah if the streamer is a D-bag (because I don't have a heart for any of them) or challenges a server to stream snipe him (that would get some action going) then hey fair game!

You need to elaborate on that. I was referring to "stop whining" on the internet such a Facebook, twitter, oh and every gamer forums known to man. People whine on the internet and you saying to stop will do diddily.

My god your argument is void because stream sniping is real, it happens. And yes sometimes your killed while streaming by a guy who isn't watching your stream. I'm telling they guys who "DO" stream snipe to stop (which they won't) and instead give the idea of helping a streamer out (like a survivor would and a bandit wouldn't).

Oh idk maybe because on every stream I watch they get stream sniped. That wouldn't make me post something to help out the streamers because I'm not a goodhearted gamer. (sarcasm)
