It's pretty hit and miss, the traffic in those areas tends to be pretty focused. You'll see folks heading toward the airfield most often, but the dangerous ones are the ones coming from the direction of the airfield. You can bet your beans they're armed.

I would say I agree, except you have to keep in mind a lot of the new players that have came in after the steam sale may not be able to communicate, get killed a few times and turn into KOS types. Just keep open lines of comm. They'll get it.

I'm disappointed I didn't see any Admiral Akbar photos. But no, it's not a trap. I've met plenty of people through these forums but that's when I go looking for them. I'm on survivor day 5 and can post screen shots of my debug counter to show you I have ZERO murders. Really, I'd rather make the game interesting by giving myself something to do and in the process help arm some new players or anti-bandit groups. I have a number of weapons I will drop in specific locations ahead of time. One way to make it safer is to tell you the location of the drop and prove I'm up providing cover by throwing a flare (even though that defeats the purpose of the anonymous help) And look at my forum history. I don't shoot survivors.

I'm in dire need of medical assistance. I've survived with this character for days, recently lost a lot of blood at the hands of a sniper. I'm bandaged but don't have the meds to fight the blur and loss of consciousness. Please message me for server and location. Warning: I understand the danger in traveling into Cherno. I'm lost. I'm currently just outside a church in a big city. The bell rings from time to time, breaking the silence of the pitch black town. I can also just make out a factory with the word "International...." on the roof. In the darkness I hear footsteps as I crawl back into a corner. I don't know if whoever's there has seen me or is just passing through so I refrain from movement and aim down the barrel of my shotgun. Then I hear, "Do you have food? I'm hungry and will trade for a map or compass" I say "No need, I left a tent and some food in the church. It's all yours" I came around the corner after he walked away to find some spare clips on the ground. Nice man.

I play on US 317, which can be laggy sometimes but usually not so bad. It seems every single player is up in the north trying to find the good loot and fight the good fight. It's been silence in the south. I have found a few nice weapons near Solichniy and I tend to stick to the treeline. I only enter the town when searching for food or refilling my water. My most memorable moment was watching a group of bandits hunting two unarmed new players. The unarmed players ran into a warehouse and closed the door behind them. I was up on a hill, behind a tree with my rifle. I waited for the bandits to circle around before I shot them all. I was gone before I could have a chance to see if my two unarmed friends were alive or if they had escaped through another door. It's the most memorable because it's the closest I've been to another player actually seeing me.

I like the way you all operate. Although I must point out, I don't have binoculars so I use my weapon to look around from the hills. I usually wait until I have confirmation that I'm going to kill a bad guy, not just some curious good one. Even still. No one has seen me. Ever. Edit: And my point is, for some reason I got distracted. What region are you in? Would like to meet up.

I have had the good fortune not to run into too many players. I have observed a few though. I was at a deer stand west of Solnichniy when I saw two guys being chased by zombies. It looked as if they were unarmed but I still watched for a moment. They weren't running perpendicular to my location, so as they ran they moved closer across my screen. They were some distance in front of their pursuers so I waited a moment. They started making wide loops around the clearing I was set up near. Never quite getting close to my deer stand. All the while I had my sights on the closest zombie (between 3-5 of them were doing the chasing) Then I realized the circle was getting tighter and tighter, and pretty soon the zombies were in a small group. The two survivors quickly turned around and took them down with a few shots. I don't know why they stuck around for so long afterwards but they shouldn't have. A group of bandits heard their shots and came up from the other side of the clearing. I saw them, the two survivors didn't. I waited until they started firing before I took all three down. The two survivors just ran off into the woods. I'm going to need to find a new "quiet" location.

Hey all I'm down to team up. I have been lucky enough to avoid all players thus far, but not so lucky with a pack of Z's in a barn. I'm about 30 minutes in with my newest player, located in Solnichniy(sp?) Skype : akash_dhaliwal
