I dont use steam to load it, due to the fact I play alot of ARMA2 ACE, Ill try once again with DayZ commander, but iv already tryed that...

This is the only bit I can help you with, Addon 'CA_BAF' Is the British armed forces addon pack which is not needed for you to play DayZ as long as you have Arma2 OA installed as it comes with all the textures and ragdolls with it (the expantion just gives you missions and the ability to use the Icons in game". So to counter act this, when your on the main menu click on the addons button on the lower right side of the screen and make sure that the beta/expansion is turned on as well as DayZ mod. Every time I log into a server I get Incorrect version of DAYZ_CODE (you are using 1.7.3 you need 1.7.4.4) The only issue is I have 1.7.4.4 I have checked this and double checked it. Iv deleted all the DayZ files and re-installed them manually from dayzmod.com/download and also tried automatically from Six updater and DAYZ commander. But still the same error every time. By the way, Downloaded the game through steam, But I play it standalone (not via steam) Please someone help me, been wanting to play dayz for ages now. Also get and Error like this: |#|!_IsHiveOK! Error !: Type String, Expected Bool

Ok, So I just patched on Six launcher to 1.7.4.4. But all the servers I use are still on the earlier version . Is there anyway to downgrade the patch to 1.7.3?? Please Help.

I just PM'ed you but I thaught ill post here too, I've only recently been able to buy arma2:oa because of the steam sale, but I'v watched countless hours of live streaming of dayz. I would love to join you but not sure how to get hold of you apart from on here cheeres lamo2001

Hay guys, I'v been saving up for ARMA2: OA for ages (as I'm an unemployed bum), and thanks to the steam summer sale I could finally get it. From watching countless hours of live streaming on twitch.tv I'v come to the conclusion of I need friends to play with, and watching these countless hours of the streams I know how to play DayZ to perfection (or so I hope).
