Unless all of your shit is completely gone and it doesn't ask you to respawn, then the issue that is most likely being presented is that you have joined a server with a private database. Simple fix: rejoin a different server. Now if your whole inventory is just completely gone and you don't seem to have anything yet are still in the same place you were before and yet didn't get prompted to respawn, then I have absolutely no idea what the fuck is going on and it better not happen to my character when I get back to Michigan on Wednesday from California.

What I normally do when a hacker teleports everyone to one specific place is quickly Alt-F4 as it rolls back your character to a position about twenty seconds that you were before you logged out. But since they fixed that, shutting down your computer REALLY quickly MIGHT have worked, but as most others have said, your best option is to starve.

The major FPS lag happens to me every now and then on different servers even with my 16 GBs of RAM, 6 Core AMD Processor, and nVidia GTX 570 TI graphics card. IT's an issuee that I only have with specific servers and I know that for a fact because if I log out and log back into the same server, the same FPS drop happens. Then, when I join a different server, my FPs goes back to normal. TL;DR: Join a different server. And for the random unconcious logins, it's because you logged out while you were already knocked out (by crashing your computer or such) or because you logged out while you were in and/or didn't know that you were in shock (the little "broken chain" icon above the broken leg icon). It will last for two minutes and appear that it isn't moving at all, but it really is. TL;DR: You logged out while in shock or while unconcious. Give it two minutes.

I cannot seem to find anywhere in the forum where anyone is having the same problem with placing tents as I am. Whenever and wherever I try to place a tent it says "you cannot place a tent here", saying that it needs to be a clear area with no objects around it. You go out, scavenging, and find a military base. You find a silencer and an attachable foregrip. You grab the silencer, check the barrel size (specific for most guns) and attach it to the gun that it fits to. You take the foregrip, and slide it onto the underbarrel of your M4A1. You find a Red Dot Sight. Same thing. You find fragmentation rounds that do more damage for your weapon, coming in 1-5 round pairs to make it underpowered; which is how it should be. If you have anywhere above 10,000 blood, seek finding canned foods such as Frank and Beans, Baked Beans, Pasta, or Macaroni. If your blood is lower than ten thousand, you are going to need and want to get to a supermarket where many canned goods can and will be found, get a friend to perform a blood transfusion, or get these items to hunt an animal, gut it, start a fire, cook the meat, and eat it. Shit like this only happens when you're carrying shit loot. You've got an M107 and they KoS you.

Allow me to simplify this. You must be completely out of the building and about 50 meters away from it in order for loot to respawn. Loot will only respawn if one or more items have been taken from it or added to it. The whole building's loot will not respawn, but instead only sections of the loot that have been tampered with. It takes, for me, around five minutes for loot to respawn.

Disable music in the audio options. Nuff said.

Make sure that you are setting the mission to "DayZ" and the version in the list matches the version you are running, so for me it'd be version 95208, which is what I would enter into the search bar. Also make sure that you aren't entering the :2302, or the port number into the address section of "remote". It should be under that section, in the "port" bar.

Barbed wire is thin, steel ropes twisted around each other with metal barbs (sharp pieces). It's not sliceable with a hatchet IRL or IG.
