Again, another person misses the point. If you read some of my previous posts in this thread, youll understand who my hate is pointed at, please do me a favor and READ THE FUCKING THREAD before posting anything. It really prevents me from re-posting the same shit over and over again. Also, i think ill stay on my 'high horse', since arrogance seems to piss you off. I dont like you because you cant take the time to read the pages, or even skim over the 4 pages to get an idea where the conversation has gone. EDIT: Also, This: "The shit pool's gettin full Randy' date=' time to strain the shit before it overflows. I will not have a Pompeiian shit catastrophe on my hands" [/quote'] -

Oh shit, the anti-hate police have arrived. Please fuck off, defending the overgrown stupidity of some of the people is only going to get you hated as much as they are. -

You completely missed the point on this thread, My hate is directed at the people who post suggestions that would derail the game, make it a typical 'cookie-cutter' game, or just plain post a troll suggestion just to piss people off. Your argument is about me and the rest of the hardcore lovers shutting down suggestions that fit the description of the above said. So you either didn't pay attention to anything ive said, or your attempting to defend the idiots. What i want to be done about it, is make a guideline people must follow when making a suggestion, posts that dont follow the guideline receive warnings, and/or bans from that board. Also, i was not joking about the forum moderator with the stamps, good suggestions must be sorted from the shitty posts so people can find, improve on, or change details within a good suggestion. What makes a Good Suggestion you ask? Simple: If its related to a CURRENT game mechanic issue or change, its a good suggestion, if its a reasonable suggestion about a new mechanic that could be added later, it could be sorted as a good suggestion, allowing players to refine the idea. The sorting would also help Rocket save time instead of digging through all the shit to get to the good ideas. -

Imagine having the greatest gaming experience in the world for a solid 2-3 weeks' date=' then a bunch of slightly autistic drooling mongoloids come flooding in the door and blow fecal matter out of their ass like chili filled shotguns all over everything and then tell us how we should clean it up. Then you'll understand our aggravation. [/quote'] Oh fuck, how i laughed. +1 Interwebz for you dude, that was fucking funny. -

There needs to be a moderator that has contact with Rocket, sit in that thread with a green "GOOD" Stamp, an orange "BAD" Stamp, and a red "FUCK OFF" Stamp, stamping each thread depending on the type of suggestion. There are so many stpid suggestions, ive lost trace of all the good Suggestions ive found in the past.. -
Straightforward Banditry Solution
Shrapnel (DayZ) replied to DocSavage's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
God damn... SO MANY STUPID SUGGESTIONS ARE POPPING UP! Its like every time someone gets killed, they want the reason they get killed removed, or changed. Grow some fucking balls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously you carebears are pissing me and everyone else off. ITS NOT GOING TO CHANGE! -
This is what happens when you post your opinion here
Shrapnel (DayZ) replied to fml's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Yep, and its ganna stay that way. Grow some balls and deal with it. -
Are there any veterans that can offer some advice ?
Shrapnel (DayZ) replied to LiptonTea's topic in New Player Discussion
My advice would be to head north. After spawning your first priority is to head away from the coast, everyone spawns on the coast, and some people like to stick around with weapons and camp. Although this method is not practical for bandits anymore, since we dont spawn with anything useful, it fulfills there stupid desire to "win" DayZ. After leaving the coast, you want to find a small town and loot it for food/water, and possibly something to protect yourself with. Zombies are a real threat now, so avoid them at all cost! Your next step is to survive, Collect more food, water, ammo, and gear so you can survive the nights (Logging out, then logging back in without food/water is a death sentence.) Optional: Find a friend to play with, use TeamSpeak, SteamChat, or some other communication method that allows you to play and talk at the same time, this is great when spotting players, you can let your group know immediately. Please note: This mod is still in Alpha, meaning TONS of bugs, glitches, testing features, and character resets/wipes. If something happens that shouldent have, post a report in the bug report thread. Good luck, and have fun. -
New changes are driving people away

Alpha, Deal with it. -
Your missing the point of my argument completely. DayZ is a Zombie Apocalypse Simulator. Survival is your main concern, suggestions for the mod should be more focused on the aspects of survival, rather than player versus player. Sure PvP is a good portion of DayZ, but thats just an addition to the survival aspect. Stop suggesting more firepower, and focus on making the base mechanics better.

I know that there are explosives in DayZ, but the fact that you have to throw a grenade, set a satchel or launch an M203 within 100-200 meters is acceptable. Having a Missile launcher thats designed for longer range in a city or camping the Airfields waiting for someone to come along, all you do is fire a missile, and it flies 300-700+ Meters and can kill an entire group of people in 1 shot. All im saying is adding more than whats already in, would slowly turn DayZ into a Slow-paced version of CoD. Honestly, think about it, Your asking to add more powerful weapons, when in a real life situation, you would be thinking where your next meal will come from, how your going to get water, or how to stay alive. Does DayZ need more weapons? No, there are more important things to work on in a ZOMBIE APOC SIMULATOR < Hint Hint..
-
@xBlackCat, Theres a small problem with having a Javelin in DayZ... Think about it... Javelin Launchers + DayZ = ?????????????WTF??????????????? Any type of Missile Launcher can be abused, Having a Jav in DayZ is like giving players full gear when they start.. Its not a good idea. Even if its super-rare, that one guy will always find it and blow shit up and ruin Cherno/Electro, causing massive complaints on the forums. Plus this a Soviet Russian map. I think most people who like this mod for the realism and immersion would agree that adding Missile Launchers is a very bad idea. If you want to go blow shit up, go play CTI Warfare, or Singleplayer.

Rocket, Review your own game.
Shrapnel (DayZ) replied to myzsarc's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
I smell tears from the OP, extra salty. Grow some balls and deal with it. 3 EASY Steps you can follow: 1.) Spawn. 2.) Move AWAY from the coast. (That means go north.. not follow the coast.) 3.) If you followed 1 and 2, your a fucking genius. Now go get food, water, and a gun. If you cant follow these steps, you need to rethink your life. -
Fuck off. It would be abused, end of story. Sorry for being harsh, but i dont think you thought this through before posting it.

Im running ArmAII - CO just find with my shitty laptop. Heres my Specs: OS: Windows Vista Home Premium Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU Memory: 30499MB RAM DXVers: DirectX 11 Video Card: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 I can barely run most of the games i play, i get 25-30 FPS max on any game, with all settings at lowest. ArmAII is a recourse hog, it uses up 80% of my CPU wile playing it. All settings are on Very Low, and my View Distance is set to 50,000. I get about 10-20 FPS regularly. 10-15 in cities or dense forest. If your Comp is any better than mine, you should be running ArmA without any issues. If you do, theres something wrong with the game or your comp. Hope this helps.

You are listening to the wrong people Rocket.
Shrapnel (DayZ) replied to MrBloodworth's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Actually no, Ive got a Makarov, 3 clips, 2 bandages and a can of pepsi. my patrol pack is empty. Ive been playing DayZ for a while, and ive not seen a pair of NVGs or anything.. The rarest thing ive seen was a crashed heli, but that was back when the loot was broken. I also found a M16 but got killed 5 mins later. Im not the top-dog DayZ player, im an average player who enjoys only the hardcore survival aspect of the game. -
You are listening to the wrong people Rocket.
Shrapnel (DayZ) replied to MrBloodworth's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
The game is not meant to repel players, DayZ is meant to be a Zombie Apoc Simulator. If you cant handle not spawning with weapons, you can go back to playing CoD.. Seriously grow some fucking balls. -
Hotfix Build 1.7.1.1 Rolling Update

Cry more please. I love the update, maybe some of the CoD Fanboys will fuck off now. Hardcore all the way! -
You are listening to the wrong people Rocket.
Shrapnel (DayZ) replied to MrBloodworth's topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Carebear detection meter is going off the scale! Someone get a bucket to catch the tears! Rocket listened to everyones suggestions, and based on what HIS ORIGINAL PLAN was, made adjustments. You have to realize that Rocket didnt start making DayZ without a long term plan. Hes making DayZ based on his plan, adding/changing/removing things based on feedback from the players. We all knew this mod was going to become harder, its already become an Anti-Game. YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO WIN! Cry more, make suggestions, and play. Nothing else you can do. -
New "Stuck at Loading" Error. (Build_93825)
Shrapnel (DayZ) posted a topic in DayZ Mod Troubleshooting
Yesterday, i updated to the latest BetaPatch for ArmA2 "ARMA_OA_Build_93825" And each time i attempted to connect to a server, it would be stuck at "Loading..." I was unable to Esc back to the lobby or main menu and was forced to End Process via Task Manager. I was finnaly able to connect to UK7 after trying about 10 other servers. After walking around for a bit, i noticed a strange glitch. The Zombies were in the T-Pose, stuck halfway underground, completely stationary. If you set one off, it would chase you on the turf it was set on and nothing else. I.E. Grass > Pavement. Example: I set off a Zed that was on grass, and when it got to the street, it would stop and T-Pose, not moving at all. Example: I set off a Zed that was next to a building, ran into the building and the Zed stopped at the door and T-Posed This happened on UK7 at 9PM GMT-8 on June 15 (Yesterday) Hope this helps.
