You know what im sick of? people on their soap boxes yelling that everyone must have proof via screenshots or video. What would the point of screenshot "you are dead", or the list of players currently in game from the lobby? It does just about as much as having nothing. This is why I said for Moderators to go look at the logs on the server as proof of any anomaly's occurring. Look I dont know exactly what the logs show.. but if they can show teleporting, kills, scripts, ect.. then they should be able to see who's hacking. It doesn't take a genius to go log onto the server and find out for themselves to confirm a hacker, after a while they will port you/kill you. Like last night on au4 had some asshole killing everyone with pipe-bombs with god mode on in electro. You only have to log in, go there to see the mayhem for yourself. This is the fundamental problem with this community, Everyone thinks everyone else automatically are a bunch of sore losers with nothing better to do than try and get people banned out of revenge. I have no reason to falsely accuse some player of hacking just to get revenge. I never said ban them based purely on what Ive said, I said check the logs for proof. Its one thing to simply get killed by another player and accuse them of hacking when it could be legitimate. Its another entirely to be teleported to the player in the middle of a forest surrounded by spawned or taken vehicles to get killed by someone playing music over mic. (which they often do). This report is to moderators of the forums, If I come across hackers I will report them purely because they are hacking, screenshots/video or not. This is not for your benefit. Don't like it, bugger off.

Because the hacker is teleporting players. which means anyone on there is vulnerable. Warning people of this is not moronic.

Server: AU50 Time 11:05PM AUST EST I was making my way from the NE Airfield to the NW airfield, had about 4500m to go in a trailbike, just got teleported to some forest area surrounded by alot of other vehicles. I herd music playing, stupidly got off and looked around. Was a player named slender in a ghillie suit, he started shooting at me, I fired back and must have pumped half a clip of MP5 into him. did nothing. No idea where I teleported to. Please look at the logs and ban Slender. Coincidentally, I saw a ton of vehicles including boats, Not far from bolta airfield. Id suspect slender also spawned these too.

It turned out that way, yeah... unintentionally too...got afew decent items and started from there, before I knew it I was storing the good stuff, playing with throwaways and keeping everything in one spot. In the end I had about 7-9 tents full of stuff. Most of the high end gear was looting already dead players. The rest from the odd helicrash or military area. I used to be like you, just living off my back.. found tents often but never used them. Till one day I found a spot that seemed perfect and it planted the idea in my head. I lost focus of actually playing a game and just became a collector of trophies. After last night, I realised what a waste of time and effort that is. Going back to a 1911/akm and be content living out of my pack I think. If I get something good, so be it.. but not care if I run out of ammo or loose it.

You just won yourself a ton of loot and a bike. Now go kill yourself. I was in my camp minding my own business, organizing items in my tents. When suddenly out of nowhere I head "pew" ... then im dead. No other noises... dead quiet. Seems I was shot in the back of the head with a suppressed weapon... or from distance. Not sure which kind of sound it was but I didn't hear a gun normal shot.. it may have been the bullet hitting me. Anywho.... It definitely took me by surprise, My camp is surrounded by tightly close bushes and there is no way to see any of the tents from any angle without walking inside the area. At first I thought.. ahh shit.. someone finally found my camp.. But then on dc after being killed I noticed something VERY odd about the player list. Theres only 4 others in the game at the time... which is just dumb luck... But its the fact that ONE of them HAS NO NAME next to their Ping that made me WTF. It was completely BLANK. I didn't know this was even possible. I made the assumption that it must have been a hacker. But then again it may just have been a very lucky player being in the right place at the right time. Either way.... They got about 15 high end military guns, heaps of ammo, tents, packs, meds, food... all suits, a bike I only found about an hour earlier, I had basically the best of everything but NVGs/radio. Would be WAY too much for one person to carry regarding the guns.. would take hours if not a few days to move everything to another camp without help. About 2 weeks worth of play time gone. Time to find a better hiding spot. I finally felt what hoarders feel when they get raided. But it also made me realize how dumb it is to try and collect all the best gear for the sake of getting all the best gear. AND NOT USING IT.... out of fear of loosing it from being killed and looted. I wasted allot of time trying to avoid everyone, including pvp to get all the best gear... only to loose it all in one go. Its given me a wake up call. High end gear is not worth the effort to get and try and keep. This wasn't a rant or a cry... just wanted to share my experience with you all. It was if anything... a learning experience.

I'd like to see major bugs like the graphic glitch fixed as much as everyone... but I'm sure rocket has pretty valid reasons for not commenting on the status of fixes. Everyone really does need to stop demanding shit as if its their right though.. I mean the attitude people have when making fix requests... not the requests themselves.

I tried using the 1.7.2.3 anim files afew days ago and it did bugger all. Just to clarify, are you saying using 1.7.0.3? (dont remember which ones were 0.3) I've been making backups since 1.7.1

I understand sleeping, in most games is to regain health. Or some other benefit. I think if you are going to introduce something like sleep as a way of inducing a penalty to the player if they don't do it... like water... then there should also be a reward mechanic to balance this. Such as either regenerating blood (1-10 per minute in or out of game), restoring stamina or reducing infection etc. Map: I'd like to see the label function rebuilt. You should be able to make notes and mark points on the map... but they should only unique to you... not everyone and unique to each server. The only time they should be shared and seen by others is in a group mechanic. These should be colour coded according to the player that marked it. Maps should be able to be used as tactical tools as well as navigation... with the ability to draw arrows from one point to another like a football play. Group leader would be able to indicate an assigned player colour when marking the map. Only those with a Gps should be able to see one another as dots on the map. Back to solo players: They can also choose colours when marking a map. The purpose of this would be to better indicate different types of targets.

But you didn't specify, so I'm going to assume what I initially thought. That somehow if I kill a player at 800m, a bunch of asshole chopper flying sons of bitches are going to fly out of nowhere and dump a bucket of blood over me.. fly off into the sunset laughing at me as zeds Chase me. They tried a cross platform game once, between pc and ps3 I believe, they scrapped cross platform because the pc users had a huge unfair advantage. Goodluck with your handicap. You may as well be playing with your feet.

I got one recently off an already dead player. Great at night. Fine as a scoped assault rifle. I think if people remember its shit past 300 they shouldnt think its that bad. For someone that doesn't have nvgs, Beats the hell out of a torch. I like to think of myself as more of a glass half full kinda guy.

I'm just hating tent dupes. It remembers where I placed every single Damn tent I ever put down, repacked and moved to get in the right spot. 2 turned into 12... last check I had 32 stowed. Id just like it if it saves the tent but clears the save when packed.
