Serious loot involved.

I'd like to say I'm very, very, very good about hiding in the woods. I've got a ghillie suit and an SVD camo. But, like many others, I lower my guard when I'm deep in the woods. Never again. I'm on a US server, my usual east-coast one (not saying which), very northwest of the world (below Skalka mountain, forest next to a small lake) when an unknown player says through VoIP: "Freeze, I've got a gun pointed at your head. If you turn around you die." I instantly freeze, complying. The guy proceeds to rob me, taking my pack and telling me to drop my weapon. He slithers in front of me to pick up the weapon, and I keep thinking "oh shit, oh shit, oh shit. This isn't supposed to happen to me." While I'm thinking this, I'm casually observing him. He drops the AK-47 he was carrying and picks up my beloved Candice. (Yes I named my rifle.) This is exactly what I was waiting for, and I prepare to draw my M9SD and kill him, when he starts talking to his buddies. See, my plan is to usually give in to somebody, drop my primary, and wait for him to pick it up. If he's advanced enough, he carries ammo for his specialty weapon. If they're new enough to have different ammo rounds, I can generally kill them. When they pick up the primary, they obviously don't have any ammo for it. I cap them then. But what he was saying posed a problem, he wasn't alone. I had no idea how advanced his buddies are, or how many there are. They talk about killing me, and that's when I decide to take multiple with me. I slide out my M9SD and manslaughter the guy in front of me. It says he's killed, and one of his buddies asks what's going on. I realize they're closing in, so I prepare. I drop to the ground, turn around, and see two guys WITHOUT weapons. Literally. They had no weapons. They see I'm armed, and they flip horse shit. One of them starts running, but I kill him with the rest of the M9SD's clip (I'm not the best shot :P). I reload, and the other guy keeps BEGGING me not to kill him. I told him to drop everything he had, and he did (to my knowledge). I picked up everything and moved it about 30m away. I then broke his leg with 2 shots and bandaged him. I told him once he couldn't see me, he should go get his stuff. I started trekking away, watching him over my shoulder. What fallows is one of the more sadistic things I've done. I find a vantage spot to watch where I dropped his kit. Surely enough, the kid starts crawling fast as he can towards it. He gets within 10m, then 5, then he reaches it, gets the morphine I placed in there, and stands up. I drop him with two body shots, so he knew it was coming. Ain't nobody stealing from Reginald Fogbottom VI. Also, how do I keep getting these lucky kills from?

I've got several goods I need to move. Plenty of sniper rifles. Plenty of Helicopter Crash weapons.

These guys are probably trolling you... there's no such thing as a "bandit" group. I'd say 1 in 4 is going to do the smart thing, join, kill you all, remove you off steam, and live happily forever in the loot of four players.

Not necessarily. I can just run around randomly if I want too XP. I agree with the general consensus. Finding where you are weeds out a good majority of the noobs.

Of course you didn't. This isn't some real life drama, if you cradled your knees and rocked back and forth, congrats, you take things to seriously. That being said, I understand how bad it sucks to be killed. You just want to appear "hardcore" and there are MANY MANY MANY others like you that a pretentious to think that killing somebody and not feeling bad makes them a that badass your mom warned you about. So, me and my best buddy are riding around in two separate cars we had (admittedly) stolen from a campsite. We drive North-Northeast from Cherno (the route by Little Hill) until we hit Mogilevka. At this point, we are desperate on fuel, so we park up the car with the smallest amount of fuel and head a little north along a dirt road. I tell him to pull over into the forest, we set up a campsite, and eat some food, drink water, consolidate ammo, the stuff you normally do. My buddy goes afk but doesn't d/c, so I hang around to guard him. I set up underneath a tree overlooking the main roads headed through Mogil, deciding it was the best place to watch for enemies. Lo and behold, a few minutes later I see three guys moving in a line SPRINTING down the road. They used no stealth. They ran in, guns blazing, killing all the zombies. At this point, I did not call out. I doubt they were very friendly. They outnumbered and outgunned us, I saw a rocket launcher and two M4/16's of various models. One had a ghillie, and one wore black (on my screen). I am not talking, but I am close enough to barely make out their conversation. Ghillie suit finds our abandoned jeep, and they decide to fan out to look for us. I try to get my friend to come back, but to no avail. I simply hide and watch as my poor friend gets killed mercilessly. Then comes the awesome part; ghillie suit starts to drive the abandoned jeep to where our current jeep was, and due to communication issues, rocket launcher guy decides to destroy the spare jeep. With a rocket launcher. :P I figured, screw it, not worth dying. I start to leave, when an incredible thing happens. The "rocket launcher guy" backs up, takes aim at the unoccupied UAZ, RIGHT as the original abandoned UAZ pulls up. The guy wearing black, apparently deaf, got into the currently UNOCCUPIED UAZ, not realizing it was slated for demolition. The rocket launcher guy fires, and manages to kill both of his allies. He looks stunned and I quietly step out of my hiding spot and put three M1911 rounds into his head as he attempts to draw his main weapon. I lived in glorious loot heaven. True story bro. Once in a million. XP And none of them had time to D/C :P I am not flaming, I am merely stating one of very few triumphs I have had over bandits. And I know not all of you are this bad. Trust me. I've died to you guys many many many times.

You can possibly even find them at Nellis AFB, boomers carry them. Wait... This isn't fallout, is it?

I just wish they didn't have attached guns. Make the players shoot out with AK's, whatever they have. You could also increase fuel consumption and nerf speed (you didn't do a PERFECT job fixing it up, buddy)

I will farm them. Take what they have except for what they need to survive. I'm against senseless killing. If the guy surrenders his stuff, why the hell not let him live?

That is much better than my first time. I ran into the largest city I could find (Cherno) and was pleasantly discovered by it's many inhabitants. Somebody found a nice M1911.

Haha, I'm an avoidance player. I rarely meet players.

I'm against sniping for fun. It's like what the American's did to the bison: eliminate them. No, they didn't need food, no, they didn't need fur. Just to kill. To hurt. It's stupid. If I kill somebody, I kind of say "kudos" to them, for giving me the stuff to survive a little longer.

My main advantage is hiding. If somebody is being threatened, and they don't know from where, they are more likely to cave. They set their weapons down, and I shoot them until they are unconscious. Steal their stuff, bandage them up, leave some morphine (and a single clip for their secondary) leave painkillers and disinfectant. It's like farming. Steal all their good stuff so they constantly have to search for better weapons and more food. They never have time to make runs to the NWAF or NEAF, must instead focus on survival. Keep them playing in this state until you're ready to let them advance.
