Fundamentally a good idea, but people have enough problems getting THIS mod to work without a plethora of issues, ranging from technical, to user error, to incompatibilities. Not to mention there's game updates, beta updates, mod updates, launcher updates. Some people do it manually, some use a patcher, some mix the two, some mix the two and use Steam. This'll just add to everyone's confusion.

Arma 2 made guns; DayZ made hatchet. Arma 2 Beta nerfed guns, While DayZ watched. Hatchet > Guns :P EDIT: That's development for ya - participating in beta patches with an alpha mod.

http://www.canirunit.com If you can run Arma 2 and Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead, then you can run DayZ.

Make the resolution and 3d resolution the same, matching your desktop resolution. If your computer can't handle that resolution, you can always drop it (along with the 3d resolution)

I like it, but a regen system should be proposed and implemented with caution.
