Maybe next time it happens remap the key and see if that works? Unless disabled, maybe sticky-keys is a problem? It's a possibility worth checking out in my opinion. Good luck!

I got close to a murder yesterday. In the Elektro hospital, I heard rummaging and drinking while I was in one of the rooms on the second story. I took out my M1014 shotty and pointed to the door. Once I heard the drinking stop everything got real quiet. I didn't want to move and risk making a sound - as far as I know this may be a veteran player fully loaded and ready to kill. After about 7 minutes of sitting there, watching the empty door way that looks straight onto the staircase heading down to the main floor, not blinking, and holding my own breath I heard a boot shuffle from the right in the hallway. My heart was racing. A real fear of death struck the pit of my stomach. Next thing I know I hear boots trampling towards me from the hallway. As soon as I saw the slightest figure enter my line of sight through the doorway I pulled that strigger. In a flash the silhouette of a player sped by the doorway, down the hallway to the left. Fueled with adrenaline I chased after. Sadly, no one was there anymore.

Use the recommended power supply requirement from the graphics card you are looking to get. The higher the better, but no need to get a 1200 watt if your graphics card requires, say, a 350 watt. 800 is the norm for a single graphics card and computer components.

Store rifle in backpack with the sufficient slot space to hold it, and remove the hatchet from your toolbelt to wield the hatchet as a weapon. Store the hatchet on your toolbelt, and move the rifle back to your primary gear to wield the rifle. Good luck, have fun, don't die.

Also note that flares attract zombies, where as chem lights don't as much.

On lower resolutions there's nothing you can do about it. If you're settings don't reflect it already, try and change your interface to "small" if it's anything like "medium" or "large", but it's small by defualt.

Dokrane on Steam. I usually play US694/20/21 depending on which are up to date, and US232 at night for the GMT+4 hour diff so I don't get schooled at night time. Just recently got wrecked by spawning in the Wilderness, so had to respawn.

Do it. I haven't touched Arma or OA, just jumped straight into DayZ. The controls are relatively standard. Except for 'G' being your inventory, as it stands for "gear". Of everything, understanding the gear system took the longest to grasp, as it's very different from any other game I've ever played. Just take a look at the controls in the menu, scan through the Infantry section and you'll get a good grasp.

You payed for the Arma games, not the alpha version of a mod that runs off of the beta patch. You can expect major problems like these. I had this problem when I first got the DayZ mod - all I'd suggest just ensuring you have the patch and mod up to date, and connecting to credible servers at first. It's more than likely the hive connection problem, as it should be saving your location, items, direction you're facing, etc. Hope you get it sorted out soon. :unsure:

I had a blasty blast time with CQF members. I'm very new to DayZ and ran into a group of CQF members at a firestation, they helped patch me up after I had gotten beat up by an angry zombie, and we set up post for the night at another station. Helped me get my bearings, and also answered a lot of questions that a noob has to ask. Got killed by a random kid named "Kyle" who got sketched out and started shooting. Fun times. Will def hit up a CQF server again.

No info about your server makes it reeeaallyy hard to know anything about this.
