Here you go: oKAY... i figured it out... well, i didnt figure it out but someone did (sorry man, dont know how to cite you... I'll paste here what I did. If you're using Steam ( same as me ), go to Steam Library > Right click on ARMA 2 OA > Properties > Local Files > Verify Integrity of Game Cache then run ARMA 2 OA or ARMA 2 CO once. If not using Steam, go directly to the next step. Go to your ARMA 2 OA main folder > Expansion > delete the entire beta folder Download and install the latest patch ( the current newest patch ) at http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php After this, run six launcher and go into options... check all boxes except "Update Beta Patch (otherwise..." Then run it from the betalaunch icon in your "arma 2 operation arrowhead" folder, not from six launcher. The first step i did like 4 times, until it told me I had only one bad file. You'll know it has worked if the loading screen is tanks and hangars in stead of that dapper man in the army uniform, and if, both before you join and in game your interface/server list looks completely different (brown, better looking, youll notice). Hope it works for you guys too, and thanks to whoever I got this fix from. Lemme know if you have questions!

Hey guys, So, since the latest patch (1.7.3.5?) and simultaneously, since I've been using the Six updater and launcher, I have begun to have major problems, all of which can be found throughout the bugs page, but none of which have answers to them. I don't know what to do anymore. I can deal with most bugs: Teleporting, interface problems, loot spawning problems, et cetera... but since this newest patch, I have two major problems. 1. Since about a week ago, whenever I log off and on I retain my stats for blood, food, water, and location, but am completely wiped of inventory and am started with painkillers, and one bandage... no matter what I had collected up until the time I logged out, or how long I waited before logging out. 2. As of today, I can barely stay in a server for 5 minutes (max) without losing connection with the host. (no signal received for __ seconds) These two things added together make the game literally unplayable, as you can imagine. Any advice would be much appreciated. The best would be if someone could walk me through a reinstall, cuz I'm not great with computing and I don't want to have to pay for the game again (I know that shouldnt be the case, but I fear it anyway) One thing which may be very important, and may not, is that I keep getting this message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/RsclnGameUI/RscUnitInfoSoldier/Background.type'. Dont know what that means, but it is what it is... Anyway, thanks in advance for any feedback, Brian

Its happening to me too. Everyone who is saying: It may be a bad server, or some such shit... its not. Its a bug, and for me it happens every time, no matter how long after i loot places and no matter how much i get... every single time i log in i start over in terms of inventory... i feel you Vandrel and Errdaay...

But why does it seem only to be happening to a select few players? I would assume the forums would be blowing up with complaints about this... I didnt play yesterday or the day before for that reason, and when I came back it was just worse. I love this game. Been waiting to play it since I first beat Res. Evil 1, around 15 years ago. *softly sobbing*

How does one find out which beta they are running? And how does one get the newest beta?

See, Im not sure how to answer that... Im running the latest DayZ version (1.7.3.5?) and I have the latest beta patch for OA... I dont really pay attention to the servers and what they are running, but its the same for every server I go in.

Same is happening to me... and now, as of today, i lose connection with the server after about two minutes... I dont know what to do anymore...

I feel like I have every single problem on this forum since I got the six updater... This happens for me in particular all the time, but its nothing compared to the fact that every time i log out i lose all of my items... all of them, no matter how long ive been playing and how long the debug monitor was gone... I spawn in the same place, and my health is the same, but I spawn with painkillers, no guns, a bandage and my shitty backpack. Its ruining the game to say the least.
